POP or POR

We currently have a room reserved at POP (we leave in 18 days) and my husband decided today to see about upgrading. The option at POR is doable for us. We have stayed at POP before (2 times)and we have stayed at POFQ a long, long time ago. I am having a hard time deciding if we should upgrade or stick with POP, since we know it so well.

Any advice?

I found POR to be a lovely, quiet, relaxing place to return to after a day at the parks.

If you could swing it, then I'd say definitely Upgrade...For you'll find this place is wonderful. Full of many more amenities than any value....

But be forewarned, it'll be hard to revert back to values once you 've been here... LoL Have a great trip.

We upgraded from Pop to Por lat wk. We leave on the 11th. Desided that i needed the queen beds and 2 sinks. We luv the Pop for quick trips but for 9 days i need the extras. Plus its our favorite place to stay.

POR. Love it. Especially the walks between POFQ and POR to take in some entertainment at the bars. Love the quiet pool outside my door.

Their close proximity was handy for us upon leaving the parks as well. Several times we were able to grab a POFQ bus back to the resort, bypassing a wait as well as a line. Then, its just a short stroll from POFQ back to POR.

I would do it if you can swing it. The rooms are larger and the resort is beautiful. While it still has outside corridors it has less of a "motel" feel than POP. I've stayed at both for short split stays and wouldn't hesitate to stay at POR again, will never go back to POP.

We have done both...love them both, but there is just 3 of us...2 boys and myself, so we usually just do Pop to save a little. We always do preferred, so we will be close to everything. It has everything we need...but dreaming of Animal Kingdom lodge or Polyneisian...in the near future.

Pop. I like Pop much better than POFQ. I've never stayed at Riverside.

I've stayed at both and I would choose POR. The rooms are bigger and we thought the beds were more comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed having more than just a food court as well.

I vote for POR. We are staying there in December, and the queen beds and theming definitely swayed me.

Depends on your plans to do the parks or to hang out at the resort. If you do the parks then POP is good enough and POR is not worth the extra $.
Just got back From POR and that is the skinny.

I love both! POR is a beautiful resort. If you can swing it, I'd upgrade for sure.
