So my wife and i are coming down for the marathon weekend in Jan 2019: yes it’s way off but pricing is about $100 total more for 6 night stay. Is it worth it the extra? I’ll be racing 4 days then we’ll be parking it every day so don’t need much but for only 100 and w new renovations debating POP.

My hubby and I did Pop in Oct ‘16. We loved it! Even though we got stuck during Hurricane Matthew. The buses were great! Everything POP was very good. I won’t hesitate to go back! Can’t comment on the reno sorry.

Pop. New rooms. Less likely to have the big tour groups. Better food court. Better for adults

Absolutely. Brand new renovated rooms. Brand new comfy mattresses. You can request a king but even with a regular room = queen mattress. Easy walk over to AoA for a nicer food court than other values.

New rooms mean awesome bathrooms and showers, big television and everything in the room is brand new.

I also vote for POP! We are staying there early March and I can't wait to try it out for the first time!

You will love it. We got to AoA now that the kids are in college and need more privacy. But before that pop was Home. Enjoy

I can't wait! It will be DH, our 9 yo niece, her mom, and I in one room. Might be tight, but I think it'll work with our strict budget. I would love to try AOA sometime when we either have a bigger budget or a different traveling party. We are definitely going to walk over to AOA though and eat at the food court.

I also vote for Pop. But it’s a personal pref, allstars just doesn’t appeal to me. Go with what theming appeals to you.

We’re doing a weeklong, adults only stay this January and we had the same decision. We chose pop- slightly nicer, hopefully refurbished room, nicer resort.

I prefer POP and think you made a good choice. Do give the POP food court a chance as I actually preferred it over AoA, though the walk over the lake and around AoA was nice.
