We booked 7 nights at POP, planning to repeat what worked really well for us last spring; alternating 3 park days and 3 resort days.

Last year we stayed at POFQ which we all LOVED. The time before that we were at GF on our honeymoon.

This year we weren't planning to do Disney so we agreed to try a value.

I'm just wondering if POP is a resort for adults who just want to relax and stroll around, sit by the pool, read a book etc?

POFQ and GF had such amazing atmosphere for my husband and myself. I'm a bit nervous about spending 3 days at this resort, but we don't want to overdo park time with a toddler either.

Has anyone spent several days just relaxing at POP or is it more of a just sleep and eat place?

We spent some relaxing time there last week. We needed a down day and slept in until about 10am, showered and got some breakfast at the foodcourt. Then we hung out by the pool for nearly 3 hours. My daughter and I swam for a bit, then she met a group of kids in the pool playing a game and I lounged on the chairs. I read my book, then laid back and actually fell asleep for about 45 mins!
After that I tossed a load of laundry in, as it is right next to the pool, and it worked out nicely. This was a pretty busy Saturday morning (I think everyone was escaping the marathon traffic jams), and it was a bit noisy with kids in the pool, but nothing extreme, and nothing I don't think you would get at any other pool area where there are kids.

Its not the GF or the Poly with hammocks and a 'beach', but it worked for me!
