pop century

4 friends and I are taking our little ones to DisneyWorld Oct 12-19 and our reservations are for the Pop Century but I have heard so many negative things about the POP that maybe we should change to another resort. I have never stayed at a value resort before. What should we do??? Please help!!!

We have reservations at PC for the first week in August. I have heard both good and bad things about the resort, but that's true of all of the resorts so we're sticking with it. I am planning a family reunion that will include 18 people. Most of them have never been to WDW before, so I'm counting on this resort to help show the "fun" side of Disney.....I'll post how it was when we get back!

What have you heard? I stayed there last month and was quite pleased with the resort. It is a value resort, so don't expect much in the way of perks.

Have you considered renting DVC points?

We recently spent one night there and the only negative thing we experienced was parking. There really is no close parking to any of the buildings--especially after the parks close. You can go to the front desk and borrow a cart to carry all your stuff from your car to your room.

We recently spent 3 nights at the Pop and had no complaints. The theming is adorable,everything is new,clean and shiny,CMs were friendly,food court and bus service good. Great family hotel,pool was also very nice and my son LOVED the arcade.
