Pop Century - When & Where?

I read an article in the Orlando Sentinel about the new (or maybe just expanded) Orlando Convention Center and how it is expected to create a room shortage (despite the tough economy) near the center. In the article they mentioned Disney's huge, new Pop Century Resort "not scheduled to open until early 2003."

Are they accepting reservations for Pop Century for April 2003? Are the rates the same as at the All Stars? Where is Pop Century located?

I need this info for my M-I-L and F-I-L who will be joining us at Disney next Easter and are unwilling to shell out the $448/night at the Polynesian with us (can't say that I blame them!!)

i called for reservations for June 2003 and they told me there is now scheduled date yet for the opening. I have to go this trip alot more concervitive money wise and that is OK, just to be at Disney is all I need,

As far as I know, it is scheduled to open sometime next spring. I'd really like to try the place out sometime!
