We are going to be at POP Century in 16 days!
I would like to request a room close to a playground, but from what I understand, there are 2. I think I have seen pictures of both, and one of them looks like more fun for an almost 3 year old who loves to climb. But I don't know which one is which.
What building or section should I request to be closest to the best playground?

Request building 10. The rooms closet to the playground are Preferred rooms, but there are standard rooms on the other side of the building.

We have resort day Wednesday and Thursday, and maybe free Monday evening

Yes we do but we are allowed up to 5 family vacation days. So unless there are extenuating circumstances they get approved. The last time I took my kids out was during the PSSA's. It was a little bit of a headache but the principal approved it. We just have to go through the district hoops.

When u chk in they have to put a cc on hold for the room? My ? Is- do they pre charge a certain amount when u chk in? I thought I had read it was $200 because the poster said she couldn't use her card the rest of trip because she only had a certain limit.

I ask because I will b using my debit card if they let me ( chase Disney debit Visa card) and there will only b a certain amount.

If someone knows of this please enlighten me!

When I did online check in they didn't charge my card at all. I used my disney visa...and theres not a lot of room left on it lol

I always use my debit card and they never place a hold, I know you have a per day limit on your room charges but other than that I can't see why she couldn't use her card if she exceeded the daily limit

I just started a disney box in the spare bedroom and have already thrown in things like ponchos, halloween themed window/door decor, power strip, pixie dust gifts for our DD, laundry bag, closet organizer, etc. I have a huge list of things not to forget and I'm crossing them off the list as they go in the box. We check into Pop on Oct 19-26 and it can't get here soon enough. I'm spending my time arranging and rearranging my FP+ lineup, LOL. Still no option for parades or fireworks :-( but online check-in is done and MB's colors are selected....still need to figure out costumes for MNSSHP though, probably will just be DD(4) and I dressing up, DH says a T-shirt will be his costume....so much for my idea of the Jetsons or Flintstones themed costumes for the 3 of us.

I've been doing the same for our Oct 19-25 trip! (only I've been using my Mickey tote bag...might have to pull our the carry on soon because it's getting ROI full). Can't wait for our first stay at Pop!

There is a$500 charging limit at the values so once you teach the limit, they will automatically charge your debit card (then the limit starts over). I've heard some reports that they may charge your card sooner then reaching that limit, but they do not put a hold on the card at check-in.

We'll be there the same week!! Fall break here. My closet floor is filling up with things not to forget. I am watching for BOG lunch res on another thread. That would be cool! My best friend and I are heading down with our daughters for our second Disney girls' trip!! See you soon!

Awesome! That was actually one of the things we were wondering too. We leave ILG at 7:30 and land at MCO at 9:45, I think. So theoretically, we can be at one of the parks by 11:30-12:00. And yay!! I was hoping for a fridge when we go in October.
