You can either walk across the bridge, or you can walk from the 50's section around to the Mermaid section, or you can drive. The 50's parking lot and the Mermaid's parking lot join together without any type of barrier.

Thank you :D

That I did not know ,I knew about the bridge , but if we are in the 50's section that is definately an option!! Cuz I want to check out AoA for sure !!

Ugh! Just did my order for water and forgot to put Pop Century in the address. I just have my name . I am trying to do way too many things at once and wasn't thinking. Please tell me I'll still get the water. I tried calling sams club, but of course they are closed. I'll be stressing all night over water now.

For my address I had:

Guest First and Last name
1050 Century Drive
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Cannot believe I did this!

We were in the 1970s section last month and we walked along the lake from that side of pop to the cars side of aoa. The little mermaid side was still under construction and that side was blocked off. It's sounds like you can get around the whole lake now.

These are the swan towel animals we got!!

This was the only bounceback offer available at this time. Free dining, but it was only for about a month window in 2013.

Last time I stayed at a Disney resort the shampoo had Tink on it and was grapefruit. This time it had Mickey and was orange scented.

Not Pop related, but the Purchase with purchase at TrenD was this great reversible bag!

I'm loving that tote bag! Is TrenD over at Downtown Disney? If so, what other store is it near? Thanks for the info!:surfweb:

We didn't walk over that way, but I wondered. Do you know what the buildings are between Pop and AoA on that side? Through my camera lens they looked like portables or trailers?

It's between Team Mickey and Once Upon a Toy.

Do they keep record of where you have stayed before? I'd love to ask for the same room I had last time! We had an awesome room!

And holy crap!!!!

When did wifi become FREE!!!????!?!?!?!?

:hyper: This just saved me $100+!!! When we were there in 2010 we had to pay for internet. I was in school at the time and needed to access the net for classes. Now DH is in school and he'll need internet.

Not only is wifi free in the room, but all the parks have free wifi too!!!

I want to call and request the same room we had last time too (in '08) :lmao: It was close to the lobby and pool but off to the side so it was quiet. My mom found her packet from that trip and it had the room numbers. I am calling today :woohoo:

They were portable buildings for construction when we were there in August. I thought they did a pretty good job of camouflaging it. I'm not sure if the area will be used for parking or something else now that most of the work at AOA is done (I know all the sections are open, but they still have landscaping, etc. to do).

If the whole circle around the lake is open, both AOA and Pop should have the RunDisney trail map available for printing. I asked for it at AOA, but they said they wouldn't have copies available until the LM section opened up. If any of you could check on that with guest services at AOA or Pop, that would be great. I haven't been able to find it on-line yet.

That is the usual bounceback for this time of year -- free dining for the same Aug/Sept period a year later.

That doesn't mean there won't be other free dining offered in 2013; this is just the typical date window offered as a bounceback during this period.

I was hoping to see the offer for room only that showed up last year on the white rabbits watch. We have AP and TiW so don't need free dining. I called to see if there were any room only offers. There wasn't. This was the first stay in a few years we didn't book a bounce back

You're welcome!

You know me, I took pictures from the parking lot this morning. Making sure I showed I was in the 50's lot looking at the Mermaid lot. ;)

Are you in Disney currently? If so do you happen to know what the weather looks like for the next few days? Have a great trip!

Just a suggestion, but checking Weather.com (or any other such website or app) for Walt Disney World is going to get you weather information that is as reliable (or unreliable) as any local weather forecast done in Orlando. I have the Weather Channel's app on my iPhone and "The Walt Disney World Resort, FL" is one of my favorites. I check the weather down there as often as I check for East Lansing, MI. This time of the year, WDW will have a high of ~85, low of ~72 with rain showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon. (Yup, just looked at the 10 day forecast.)

From experience I have learned that looking at Disney weather tends to show rain every day even when the sun is shining. I have the weather channel app on my iphone also and it has shown rain for a month straight and I can't believe that is the truth (at least I hope not)!
