:moped: What is the best way to get from Pop Century, where I am staying, to the Grand Floridian for dinner? Thanks for the info. :thumbsup2

Hi,

You can take a bus to the MK then the resort monorail to the GF.

A faster and easier (but more expensive) way would be to take a taxi from Pop to the GF.

Depending on the timing of the buses from Pop, you could also take the first bus to any of the parks, and then take the GF bus from whichever park you go to. If you have just missed a MK bus, this may be faster than waiting for another MK bus.

For using bus service, the fastest (as stated before) is Pop to MK, Monorail (or launch) to GF.

If you go to Epcot, chances are you will have to take the Monorail to TTC, then resort monorail to GF.

If you go to D/MGM AK, or DTD, chances are you will get on a bus that goes to the Monorail resort loop (Comtmeporary, Poly, GF) Depending on the order of stops it could take more time.

If you miss the MK bus, a taxi would be your fastest choice. If you allow time, any of the routes will work, just allow at least 60 + minutes. I would allow more, but then I like to walk around the GF.

Just noticed the scooter in your post. If that is just for cute, please ignore this. If that implies you need a mobility device, you might check with Disney and see what special accomodations they have for transport resort to resort.

Going on multiple buses can be entertaining (if you have time), sometimes we take the longest bus route just to "sight see".

Just MHO, YMMV

The easiest way to get to any resort is to use the nearest theme park. Plan on the Magic Kingdom for part of that day. From there just hop on either the monorail or the boat over to the Grand Floridian. Saves time trying to get from one resort to another.
When finished you can either monorail or boat back to the MK for more park time or the bus back to your resort. You may also want to go to another park after you eat. You can monorail over to the TTC and switch to the Epcot monorail. You can also catch a bus from the Grand Floridain to the Disney Studios, Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney.
