A little back ground first...My family, husband, daughter, grandson, and myself are going to Disney next September. We have booked at Pop Century ....problem is my 8 yr grandson is very scared of heights! So going on the Skyliner may not be a option for him. We will not have a car with us and I love the busses at disney.

I have been told that the only transportation option offered for Pop Century to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios is the Skyliner. That bus service will only be added during busier periods.
Can anyone confirm that this is true? Thank you for your help!

We wouldn't book skyliner only resorts because my son hates the skyliner. He did try it and it was not a success.

That is true - you'll only be able to take a bus if the Skyliner goes down. However, you can take busses to/from Art of Animation, which is a fairly short walk from Pop Century.

The 1960s section at Pop Century would be a good section to request(There are both Preferred and Standard rooms in the 1960s).

The 1960s are right at Generation Gap Bridge which leads to Art of Animation.

We stayed at CBR a Skyliner resort and went during Thanksgiving which is a busy time and only had the Skyliner to Epcot and HS no buses.

If you really think he won't take it, one of the All Stars is probably less expensive and the rooms are identical to Pop. To each their own, but in my opinion at Pop you are paying for the Skyliner Access
I agree maybe All Star Movies

I’d stay at Pop, request the 60’s, and walk over to AofA to catch the Epcot/HS buses.
