Do the guest rooms at Pop Century have coffee pots? If not can you get one from housekeeping? Also, are there microwaves available at the food court? We thought that we would bring some lunch items in addition to breakfast items to save money.

Thanks,

no,,no,,and yes. They do have microwaves,,however,i believe they're for food bought at the food court. I don't know if its kosher to use them for food brought from home. You may wanna ask Tyler over at the POP faq thread. We stayed there in March, and i was bummed about the lack of coffeepots. However,,they do have it at the food court, and the mugs are kinda cool.

The microwaves are in the food court. I know people who used them to heat up left over food from other restaurants on property and from DTD. I used the toaster ovens for bagels I brought from home. I bought lots of food from the food court and from restaurants at the theme parks and would not feel that it was wrong to use the microwaves at the food courts.

We brought our own coffee maker from home. We are "have to have coffee first thing in the AM and too lazy to walk to go get it" kind of people. I have since read on these boards that this may not be "kosher" and the potential fire hazard part of it since it's not checked by engineers at WDW etc. I can say we also bought the refillable mugs and used them too so it's not like we were trying to cheat Disney. I wish they would offer small coffee makers in the rooms.
