cost is the same.

Pop: closer walk than LM
murphy bed lots of extra space but it might just stay down anyways
sliding door instead of a sheet separating the bathroom
more dresser space
clear fridge/ separate food counter

AoA: bus option to & from HS= is this a significant advantage?
little mermaid rooms are a further walk

Which do you like better and why?

I’d pick Pop.

Request the 60’s section. If you get it, you’ll be closer to the buses at AofA, then you will be in the rooms in the LM section.

I like the updated pop rooms more than the LM rooms so I would pick pop

Pop - the rooms are less of a walk and if you choose to take a skyliner you're given preference over AoA - and can still walk over to AoA if you'd rather take a bus with the same or less of a walk than the LM rooms.

Having stayed at Pop in March and the LM room this past week, I’d definitely go with Pop. The showers are much nicer in the renovated Pop rooms. That shower curtain room separator at AoA is pretty budget for a newly refurbed room. And I’m not one to typically complain about walking distance, but those LM rooms can be far. Far from the bus. Far from the Skyliner. Far from the main buidling.

If the murphy bed is down at Pop, you lose use of the table. Of course, raising that bed to get use of the table may not be an option if someone is lying on that bed and someone else wants to use the table. At AoA, you can use both the second bed and the table at once. The tradeoff is a more cramped room.

I love the LM theming, maybe my favorite on property. But if that’s not you, then sure, go Pop.

This is an interesting thread :) How does Pop get priority over AoA for Skyliner? Does each resort have a dedicated loading zone?

I just returned from a stay at AoA LM, and was very glad that we had a car available. Even when taking the bus or Skyliner we drove to the front of the resort and parked there. At my age, that long, long, LONG walk to LM would have been intolerable at the end of the night. Some of the Pop buildings are also quite a distance to walk, but many are not. With LM, ALL the rooms are practically in another zip code!

Yes, each resort has their own loading line for the skyline. On opposite sides of the bridge.
AoA has buses too so they load very very slowly onto the skyline. When there a couple of weeks back like 5 groups in maybe 45 minutes.
POP doesn’t have buses to the skyline resorts so their line moves continuously & fast. ( hint: cross the bridge & get in the POP line )
