POP CENTURY ... LAST WEEK of SEPT. 07 MEET

Disneymom5 I hope it all works out for everyone to go!! I know it has to be stressfull not knowing what will happen. I had a "nightmare" the other night that when we got to the resort my parents had decided to bring both my sisters along at the last minute. While I would love to have them come... It would total mess up the whole plan! In the dream I was like

AKSunshine - What is funny about the TV is that we ran out and bought another one yesterday and then have not watched it yet (except a couple minutes when we first brought it in) Usually you can hardly drag me away from the TV, but lately w/ the trip planning I'm just not as into it Glad that we didn't have to go w/out one though.

I have been taking it pretty easy today. I got up and worked on more laundry. Then we went to Sunday dinner w/ my grandma and parents (at grandma's house). My dad just bought a new boat, so I tried to convince DH that we should spend part of tomorrow going to the lake to ride the boat and get pulled on the innertube behind it. He Absolutely Refused Men, sometimes they're no fun Oh, well.

Been hangin' here on the DIS most of the day. Gonna go read up somemore. Everytime I think I've about covered everything, I find something else to look at

You sound just like me! I can't stay off these boards and my husband keeps complaining "you're always on the computer with your Dis friends..." and I reply AND? That's what my dh and in-laws get for leaving me in charge of planning this trip! Ah well....sounds like you have been doing a lot of laundry! I'm always amazed at how much laundry there is for just the four of us

I feel for you DisneyMom5 and everyone else who has been having to re-arrange ADR's and add/reduce family/party sizes ....but hopefully it will all be worth the trouble in the end when September finally gets here!

We're finally back from Providence, daughter in tow. Lots of boxes in the garage but her necessities are in her room & I'm going to let HER open & sort the boxes!!!. She's off to Six Flags tomorrow to begin her gig as the host of the new Wiggles show there. Not too thrilled but, hey, they're paying her to sing and dance, could be worse!!! She's trying to arrange an audition while we're at WDW. Wouldn't that be perfect?!?!? A built-in excuse to go down!!!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I worked yesterday and shopped today. We have a big Birthday Party for my mother tomorrow she is turning 70.
I know we have this meet, but I think I signed up for one on sept 28th during the party, besides the one my DD started. Does anyone know what I am talking about? I know I signed up for another one.

Hey everyone! Glad to see everyone's weekend has been going well!

We went to see PotC3 today! It was awesome, long, but awesome. DD loved it!! She got a little nervous when Lady Bouvey (sp?)(deleted, don't want to be a spoiler), and we had her cover her eyes on a couple of parts, but she sat through all 3 hours! For those of you who haven't seen it, they left it wide open again, so I'm sure #4 is in the works!


Matt's birthday is Thursday, so MIL gave him his present... instead of getting her money she'd paid toward her trip refunded, she added it to our ressie! $645!!!! How cool is that??!!! I gues sometimes she isn't so bad afterall!

We had thought about renting but decided to just use the buses. I looked into several companies & everything seemed really expensive. If they come out w/ some good rates I might still look into it, but at this point we aren't going to.

So we're going this weekend to Home Depot. For you guessed it, LIME GREEN MICKEY HEADS...

We'll put them all over our windows, our door, everything, so look out for us at the POP.

This trip, we don't have a choice because we are staying at soooo many places Here is our trip so far

Sept 18-21 Vero Beach DVC
Sept 21-23 Pop Century (the room is paid for thru the 29th for the Free DDP or our teenagers might hang out there)
Sept 23-29 Wilderness Lodge DVC

so we have to have a car ..
