I'm here!!! I've just been super busy at work & trying to spend more time working then on the DIS. I hate actually having to work

I still haven't got my tickets. I tried to call again this morning & they said that it could take up to 21 days to receive them in the mail...they were no help

How's everyone doing? I can't believe we are almost to 4 months. That is so exciting!

Hi Becky! You're a better person than I because I do not have the willpower to stay away from the Dis Lucky for me, I have a flex staff position and mostly just work a few weekend days here and there so I can indulge in my addiction all the time I can't believe you haven't received your tickets yet and they don't seem to be very helpful 21 days seems like an awfully long time...even with a confirmation number they can't give you any more information? Well, we'll try to help you pass the time
I can't wait to see my ticker at under 4 months!

Quick questions......does anyone know if the festival of the lion king will be showing in september, and is it included in AK park admission? Also I have never seen fantasmic but plan to in September,,,,it is included in park admission right? LOL

Both are included in the regular park admission. They are both really good, so don't miss them Fantasmic is one of my favorites of all time!

BTW, I called to fix my dining after MIL cancelled, and they DON"T have me down for the FP at Mama Melroses (apparently TA forgot that part of my request... ) , so I'll be sitting with the Disers at Fantasmic!

Thanks aksunshine! I would LOVE to go with you guys to fantasmic but I will be leaving WDW on the 23rd I AM going to see it this time though, we have never seen it and I heard its awsome!

Hi guys! Becky directed me here a few weeks ago, but I never joined your thread because we aren't going to be able to make it to your party (which sounds awesome, by the way) since we'll be staying over at POFQ.

But Southwest messed us up by cancelling the "good" flight from PDX to MCO on the weekends , so we had to add an extra day to our trip so we could fly in on Friday instead . We decided to spend that first night (room only, before the free DDP part of our trip) at Pop Century, because we heard that's where all the groovy kids hang out . Well, that and my dd has been craving a slice of tie-dyed cheesecake.

To make a long story short (too late, I know), I booked a one night reservation at Pop for 9/21. We still most likely won't be able to make the party on 9/22 (those ADR's are getting hard to move around!), but will be around the resort for a day or so. Hope to see you there!

Whew! I managed to read through this entire thread I had been hanging out on the Mojito Madness weight loss thread, but thought I was crashing the party cause I couldn't convince DH to go this September. But, Last weekend he finally agreed.

Our party is me (28), DH (28), DMIL (59), DMom (55?), DDad (56?) at POP from 9/22 til 9/27 DMIL will be rooming w/ DH & I, but DMom and DDad will be in their own room. We made ADRs and it was difficult to get good times... I may still try to tweak them. Here is what I have so far:

Mon 24 Boma 8:30pm

We are considering trying some lunches instead? and also maybe doing some sharing, cause it can be a lot of food.

I am SO Excited and can't wait to meet everyone!! My biggest concern is that all the places we tried for on the 22nd were 9pm or later. If we aren't able to either change our dinner or check in early, then it will be awefully late before we get to the PARTY

I really want in on some GLOW JUICE though!

I am back! I took the red eye thursday night out of San Fran and got back to Boston around 8:30 yesterday morning and proceeded to CRASH

Welcome Foxfiregrrl! On the 22nd most of us will be seeing Spectro/Wishes first so won't be meeting up until after so you will not miss much if you come by late

I have Whispering Canyon ressies on teh 26th as well but at 6:10pm. I ate there last year and it was really good...but LOUD

Welcome Thurderbird! Make sure you are wearing your LGMHPC! I think we will be hanging around the resort when we arrive on the 22nd before our 6:10pm ADR's at Chef Mickeys....maybe we will run into each other before you take off!

Also a few of you w/ children talked about coming back to POP to rest during the day. DH & I did not do that last time, but my dad swears by it. We will be going at a slower pace this time. It is DMIL's first time to Disney, but the rest of us have all been. DDad has a heart condition so doesn't move as far as fast as he used to and DMIL thinks she's old and she has some minor back problems, so she won't be going real fast either. So, breaks mid afternoon are a real possibility for us also.

I am really excited about Whispering Canyon! I have read so many neat things here on the boards and I was just dying to try it out!

Hello I am so glad you got to add another day to your vacation I am going to add you to the list anyway.. You never know you might just have to come back and GLOW with us
