Your picks all sound wonderful.. I wish I was going for that long![]()
I am still up in the air about MNSSHP on the 28th. I just feel like it is going to turn into that one day last year that was a DISASTER. I think that was the infamous 9/29 party (someone correct me if I am wrong) because of the free dining.
I am already taking off the park hopping part of my tickets and that will save me $120 which I will justify in using to pay for MNSSHP but I am still worried.
BUT I am DYING to see the headless horseman and the cool looking parade
Becky.. are you renting a car?
The Headless horseman is AWESOME !! But the coolest thing is the haunted lighting and the Villian fireworks ... oooooooooow and being a 40ish year old woman running around trick or treating with DH![]()
We are thinking about it but we haven't made ressies yet. Do you think we should?
We'll be at POP from 9/16 - 9/29 -- me, DH, DDs 11, 10 and 6 and DS4 weeks! Don't quite know how smoothly things will go with our baby. Hoping he's like the other three and we'll be able to join the party 9/22. We'll see!
I guess that would be a personal preference.. we book a car for part of our trip.. but only because we are going to the beach and alot of water park time.. my kids are teenagers rememberalways wanting to go go go
My dd13 will be happy to hear this! She was convinced there were no 13 yo girls who would be at Pop, since everyone posting seems to have little boys! LOL
We will have a 6 yo boy also.
See you there!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Greetings from Australia- the only place with more sunburnt Poms than Orlando
.
Looking forward to joining you on 22nd - our arrival date! However, not sure if I'll still be able to stand upright as we arrive at about 7pm after 30 hours travel from Perth in Western Australia (11 hours to Tokyo, 11 hours to Detroit, 3 hours to Orlando).
I know, I know - I must be a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic - but don't fret gentle readers, I have a positive mental attitude, a BIG bag of teeny-tiny distractions/activities (my goal is 30 - one an hour) and the Australian Travelling Mother's Last Resort - a big bag of antihistimines... there I'll be,drooling, snoring and probably worse - but hey, I'll be in another place, a far better place....the other two can fend for themselves...(only kidding... or am I...)
Anyway, I have had to machinate, plot, cajole and bully rest of my small family consisting of DH - or I refer to him asNIITSDH (Not-Interested-In-The-Slightest-DH) and 9 year old TrampolineLegoGoGoGoBoy
DS Rory. Sooo, the RESPONSIBILITY is crushing dear SepPoFo's - what happens if we don't have a good time -
- or, or it rains
- or someone gets sick
, or everyone hates it
- and it was ALL MY IDEA
!!!!
Blimey - I feel much better now....it's all vented and handed over - gosh you gals are GOOD!!![]()
Anway, background here - we're originally from the UK so I went with my family as a teenager in the 80's and in 1992 I took DH on a 4 day whirlwind tour with very early and very skinny edition of the Unofficial Guide (it worked, even back then, we saw everything, but it did stress DH out as I wouldn't allow him to eat - I was FOCUSSED - no time to eat- chop, chop you SLACKER!.
But now of course, I am mature and wise in man-ways, so we have 14 days and plentyplenty rests aka TGM. There will be NO stress, no late rushing around, all will be calm and serene grasshopper...we will be as butterfly wafted on gentle breeze, as we glide effortlessly from rope drop to strategic FP to scheduled siesta to cunningly planned ADR. It is all in "The Schedule" (oh yes, it's in colour) and there will be absotively, posalutley NO real life interfering in my shiny happy plan.
Anyway, have blathered on and not managed to give dates - we're at POP from 22nd Sept to 7th Oct.
And mines a Sea Breeze (1/3 vodka, 1/3 cranberry juice, 1/3 pink grapefruit juice) or I make a mean Rose Martini...not to mention my Margarita Ice Cream (it's what angels eat on their hen/does nights).
I don't think I've posted my plans on this thread yet. I am in charge of all the details for everything.![]()
Did I mention we're having a Grand Gathering with 16 people?![]()
Here is the crew:
DH (37) and I (39) and our 7 kids previously mentioned
(this is our 3rd trip as a family, baby's first trip!)
DBIL (Ummm...around 33, I think) and DSIL (34?)
and their two kids dniece 10 and dneph 8
(DSIL was there as a child, maybe 25 years ago, I think before Epcot, rest of the family's first trip)
Both of DH's parents (Mid 50s) (MIL was there 25 years ago also, FIL's first trip)
My Mom (68)
(First Trip! Can't believe we talked her into it. My dad said NO, so we will go without him.)
My mom is travelling down with us in our 15 passenger, and the ILs are going together in another van. ILs are staying the 16th-22nd. We will stay until the 27th.

My best friend says I am making a mistake about Coral Reef, but she hated Le Cellier, so I am hoping she is wrong. LOL![]()
We figured out it has taken me over seven hours of phone time to plan and book this trip. It will be worth it IF they all have a good time. No pressure there, right? LOL![]()
Anyway, it feels good to get that all out there in front of people who understand.
I'm Sarah, and I am a Disney Planning Addict....
