She had a wonderful day...off to Libby LU this morning for a little pampering and a Libby "DU", picture-taking at Picture people, lunch with mom and grandma, build a bear, shopping, and just got back from bbq at grandpa's house! Phew! Long day, but she had a blast! This is the third time we're celebrating her birthday because she had a "friend" party in May, a family party with little sis who just turned one, and again today
I'm just glad her never-ending birthday celebration is finally over

My planning is at a stand still right now. I tryed to call coral reef today and set up for a diver and personalized menu but the man said he would have to call me back in a hour or so =he never did, so I am thinking of calling back. But once that is done I cant do anything else except read on how to avoid lines, everyones talking about ways they know to get the shortest wait time for rides and shows, and I havent done that yet (im clueless) so Im off to read my official guide and see if I can find the answers in there. How is your trip planning going?

We always hit the parks first thing in the a.m and never have lines in Sept. then we come back early evening to do it again in the dark

You need Tour Guide Mike .. or at the very least the UNOFFICIAL Guide to Disney (which I think I may go pick up today just for the fun of somethign to read lol).

That's where I've gotten all my tips from and it worked well in 2005! Amazing feeling to swoop around the park ahead of the crowds and pass by stuff you've already done with huge line!

I tryed tour guide mike and was not impressed, I only looked at it for a couple days before I got my $ refunded-prolly should have tryed it for a longer period of time. Definitely take a closer look at the Unofficial Guide...*if* we need to use them, he has sample touring plans in his book for all the parks that tell you the best way to hit the rides in a particular order to avoid standing around in long lines all day, he also has a ton of other touring plans on his website and I think I paid like $7.95 or something to have access to all the plans for a year.

I would call Coral Reef back, if they haven't called you back yet. That is so neat that they do that there! Too bad Coral Reef was on definite must NOT on my list because I do not like seafood at all

My plans are going OK, thanks for asking! Still trying to get all the girls outfits together and I did end up getting some of the princess snack bags that Alicia mentioned(thanks Alicia). Next on my list is to get our T-shirts or wahtever we're doing for MNSSHP!

Good to hear it! , the price is right and I have found them to be useful, and we may just loosely follow them anyway, even if there are no lines.

I'm sorry all their divers are booked the day you are going but the personalized menus are still a nice surprise for your dh!

I have this agenda thing down pretty pat and usually have a loose plan down a couple of months in advance and then tighten it up a bit closer to time when the park hours and such are more definite.

However, this year I have a horrible problem. There are so many DIs meets happening when we are there and not a single one happens to be happening on the day that we are going to be in a the right park!!! Since we have ADR's it is not so simple to switch around our plans. What to do, what to do!! So many familar names to put faces to!!!

If parades are not your thing go on the more popular rides then.

Watch the parades from the less popular spots so that you do not end up spending hours holding seats instead of doing what you want.

Zig, instead of zag, as everyone else is doing. When a major attraction is letting out the crowd will head toward the closest big deal. Go left instead of right and there is almost always a lesser line.

Read the DIS daily and write down the best tips and organize them in a fashion to where you will remember them.

If you miss something, and you will, just go back -again and again until you see it all. Has not happened to us yet but then we have only been going for twenty years or so.
