We are driving from Charleston SC on September 20....7 hours in the car with just me and 2 under 3....

YIKES - arent you the brave one!!

We're flying - and dd 10 last year on our 11 hour flight from hedoublehockeysticks - she tossed her cookies - and doesnt know we are flying - I want to sedate her!! It should be a non stop 2 hour flight -

I do hate listening to all the reports of backed up travelers at airports - cancelled flights - more trapped on a plane reports...

Takes us about 28 hours driving non stop... this year we are thinking of stopping for the night so it'll add 8+ hours on to our timing... but not too bad still.... my DH refuses to fly if he can drive there

Flying from the Quad Cities. I drove it once three years ago and swore I'd never do that again!

Plus, with the price of gas, it's cheaper to fly when coming alone.

We're driving from Michigan, leaving on the 15th, and will spend that night in Chattanooga. Then the next night we'll be in WDW!!!

It takes us about 22 hours between the two days, counting potty breaks and stopping for lunch.
My kids are pretty good travellers. Hopefully that remains true for this trip.

Driving here! DH doesn't want to fly with the baby. It's about 13hrs or so from So. Indiana. We'll probably drive thru, but not sure yet! I'm so thankful it isn't 28hrs, I won't complain again Tanya!

We are driving from Middle Georgia. I think it is close to an 8 hour drive We're lucky!
When I have been in the past w/ my family we drove. When DH and I went two years ago we flew down from Atlanta. At first this time DH was like "if we go we are GOING to fly" cause he hates to drive (he commutes 45 minutes each way to work), but I do most of the driving on trips anyway. BUT, my parents and his mom are going and that's to much moola for such an easy drive. My dad ALWAYS drives anywhere he goes, so that helps too.
Only downside is that I think we are bringing dad's truck, which has a back seat but it is pretty small! But I'm not sure that we would get all our luggage into my or my mom's mid sized sedan.

Keep em coming! I like to hear everyone's locations and travel times!

Haven't been on the Dis in awhile. Too much e-baying

We will be flying from Chicago on September 22, nonstop to Orlando I think our flight is about 2.5 hours. We are getting sooo excited! I am FINALLY really going to make it to Disney after 31 years and get to share all the excitement and wonder of seeing everything for the first time with my two baby girls We can't wait!!

I've been checking at the "party" stores... for discount glow things... and ONE STORE had glow cups for $1!! Just a red plastic cup, but in the base you drop down a glow stick!!

Now (after the 4th holiday) is the time to check those stores for bargains on all things glowing!

(I'm looking for a pair of glow stick earrings, they had them 2 years ago!)

We're leaving out of Midway via Airtran. They just changed our flight so I think we're departing at 8am and arrive in Orlando at about 11:30 am with the time difference. We wanted to fly Southwest but when we wanted to book the airfare was too high so when we get a good deal on Airtran we couldn't pass it up! Plus, Airtran is now a partcipating airline with ME, so no truckin' around our own luggage when we depart!

Those glow cups for $1 sound cool, you can't go wrong for that price!

We are driving from Indiana. Its about a 15 hour drive and we plan to stop in Macon, GA to stay one night on the way down.
I CAN HARDLEY WAIT!!!

I checked in 4 weeks ago with my dates and haven't been back since but WOW how the list has grown. The Glow party will be sooo big, we might need "crowd control"! LOL! Or ...with so many glow-ers, we might be radioactive...or draw lots of moths! Anyway I just wanted to check in and say Hi. I'm stocking up on glow stuff and counting down the days. 72 and counting...
