Howdy from Pop room 3308. We got a great room in the 50's area overlooking the bowling pin pool. Our window/door are decorated and stand out like a sore thumb! I love it. I looked for the meet last night, but couldn't find it, so I sat by the pool with my coller and relaxed. Hope to see some of you around soon.

I just found out about the glow party yesterday when I was reading another thread and mickeymouseclubhouse was sweet enough to send me a link to this one! After much convincing of my very shy DBF, I think we are in! We've been to WDW many times, with LGMHs on our backpack, but I've never met any DISers! DBF and I arrive at POP on the 22nd and then we are doing Citricos for dinner and then Wishes, but we would love to catch up with all of you when we get back to the hotel. I'm going to the store today to look for more costume stuff for MNSSHP, so I'll be on the look out for stuff to make us GLOW! What a great idea! I

Hi there! As far as costumes go, we're not sure yet! LOL. We do everything last minute. We have pirate costumes that we wore to MNSSHP last year, and that would be easy, but I wanted to do something different! I went to the store today and saw some really cute Harry Potter stuff for adults, and I LOVE Hermione, but I don't know if I could convince DBF to go as Harry!
so no help there! 
to complete our look but time and $$ has gotten away from us so not sure what we're going to do yet

I love all the Pirate costumes that people are doing but I can understand you wanting to try something different this year! I know nothing about Harry Potter though
I really wanted to dress up for MNSSHP...we were going to wear tye dye mickey head shirts and dress as a hippies
) Even if you have to throw something together with stuff you have lying around the house. Also, I'm pretty sure you get a free family photo with your ticket, and being in costume really makes it special. Sometimes, homemade costumes are the best costumes anyway!

plane takes off 7:35AM Friday!! I packed 3 WEEKS AGO. Now I need to take it all out because I can't remember what I put in!!!!!!
That's how I justify not packing anything until the last minute! Even with a 2 page, 4 columns per page checklist, I'm still too paranoid to trust my checkmarks. I really think I need 2 or 3 sets of checkmarks--one for when I did it, and a couple more for when I check to see whether I really, truly did it.
