Any thoughts?

We have only stayed at all star music before. Once all 5 to a room (youngest was 2) and 2006 with 2 connecting rooms.

thinking somewhere different might be nice. But obviously space is an issue.

Any thoughts would be great!!

:yay:

The Dolphin has the big pro of location!! You can walk to both Epcot and DHS, and you are super close to all the great eating and entertainment of the Boardwalk and Beach Club/Yacht Club resorts. The rooms are nice, too. You might not get all the "Disney magic", but the Deluxe resort at a Mod (or even Value) price more than makes up for that.

2nd choice would be POR or POFQ- both are beautiful resorts!!!

I hated our visit to POR/FQ last August. We won't return there. Based on your choices, I'd go Dolphin or Pop.

My thoughts are OUCH, that's expensive for a low end hotel room, or 2! You can stay offsite for under $1k for a week, get a nicer place, better beds, with a pool, kitchen, free internet, and more, rent a car, save $$ on not having to eat every meal in a food court, wait in line for Disney busses, and spend less. Search around the board here, there are tons of close, gorgeous resorts, that are as close as POP, less expensive, and tons nicer.

Check into offsite options, like vacation pool homes in the area! Once you try it most never go back to the small hotel room type vacation! If you haven't considered it, at least check it out, you're missing some pretty big options if you don't.

I would go with the Dolphin. It is typically considered a bit nicer than many other Disney deluxe resorts. I have heard their beds are very comfortable and it is in a great location.

are you flying or driving?

if driving - stay offsite - you can get a house or condo for less.

if flying then stay with WDW, you don't need a rental car.

now if you get the dolphin or swan - then you need transportation by and forth to the resort from Orlando International airport. don't get a rental car - this place charges for parking.

only the WDW resorts can use the DME - Disney Magical express - the transportation is free.
