Pop century food court opening time vs all stars

Does this play into your decision to pick a Resort? All stars opens at 6:30am pop is at 7am. Didn't think it would make much a difference but it did on our last trip we missed the food court in the morning twice. Not a huge deal but didnt get my coffee or diet coke fix and our son loves to eat breakfast there. Our next trip is spring break and with wanting to beat crowds im debating switching...husband loves skyliner though. Sigh

No, POP will always win out over the all-stars. The skyliner makes it the winner for me.

On my last trip I did miss the food court opening at 6am. Now to make rope drop I have to eat breakfast in the parks. I'm a childfree adult that doesn't want to eat granola bars on my vacation. I also fly.

Yes. We stay at All Stars specifically for this reason.

If the breakfast timing is a big part of your script, you could go for the All Star resorts, as the quick services in both Pop and All Star are largely similar.

For rope dropping, the 7am openings drive me nuts. I'll Uber to Swan or Dolphin sometimes, because theirs open at 6am.

A lot of Disney hotel breakfast stuff doesn’t open until 7am. It’s ridiculous.


OP, I wouldn’t switch from Pop though just over a couple breakfasts. Put some soda in the fridge and have some pre-packaged breakfast stuff on hand. If you want more substantial I’d just grab something in the park after the early morning time is done.

Also,All-Star Sports will often open a register around 6:15 AM for Grab n Go items.

Having said that,Pop Century has Disney Skyliner,Hourglass Lake,fireworks views,a killer soundtrack,etc. so I would not switch just for the earlier Food Court opens.

At Pop, you should be able your mug with diet coke from the refill station at Petals as early as you want.

Thr high fireworks from Epcot are easily seen from several spots with Hourglass Lake as they reflect off of the water being the best spot.

You're welcome-you can HEAR the bigger explosions as well.

And if there are any rockets launched during your trip,the front of Pop Century is an excellent viewing spot.

It is long distance viewing of course but still pretty cool,especially at night.

Yep. I've never seen them do a mug inspection.
