Thank you, we had fun trying to get all the special ones and like Dave says there is one that was very very hard to get that we got :teeth:

I hope you all have a fantastic time, can't wait to hear all about it when you get back :goodvibes

Love the photos. But I do have a question. Where do you go to learn about the Photopass CD? Costs and how you sign up for it?

Thanks.

I loved reading about your resort day- brought back memories and reminded me that despite the problems I had on my trip, the Poly is a lovely resort to relax at!

Love your PP pics, Ben and I will have to try and get some on our next trip!

Hi Stefy!

I am finally ALL caught up again. Nowadays it seems like I am playing catch up all the time! ;)

Love your updates! We need to check on Mall at Millenia one of these days - does it have a Disney store? :lmao:

Love your DLRP plans!
Check the schedule for Stitch Live - they have shows alternating in French and English!
Crush's Coaster is a definite must do! So MUCH fun to ride in the turtle shell. The lines will be long, but this IS worth the wait!
Grab a FP for Space Mountain - the line is loooooooooooong if you do it standby and people are always trying to push past you! :sad2:
Don't forget to ride BTM and Indy! Cute little RC! :goodvibes
Love the restaurant choices! Defo ask for a window seat out over Main Street! Best seat in the house!!!!!

BTW - your parcel has started its way towards London! :lmao: Yes, finally it went on its way! Dave will defo know what is HIS present! Or you just share - there's a little chocolate too, which I hope you CAN share! :rotfl2:

Have a fun weekend!

Stefy, your PP pictures came out great!!! :goodvibes

Thank you :goodvibes

Thanks :)

You need to go to this website www.disneyphotopass.com and keep an eye out for the pre-order offer on the CD which is $99.95. What happens is you basically pre-order the CD before you get/take any photos. Go to Disney and get lots and lots of pics taken making sure you don't loose the card the photographer gives you and then once your vacation is finished, come home log onto the website edit your photos and then add the photo's/CD to your basket (the discount will be applied automatically when you sign in) and wait for the CD and all your lovely pictures to be sent to you :)

Hope that made sense :)

The Poly is such a beautiful resort and still looks good for its age :teeth:

You must do PP next time, its so much fun and you get professional photos of the two of you, rather than one or the other in the picture :)

Thanks for the tips for DLRP, defo gotta make sure we pick English showings :thumbsup2

Looking forward to seeing what you have sent us :teeth: Even though it was naughty of you :goodvibes

Hey All :wave2:

How are we all doing? Weekends going good so far?

Me and Dave went to Oxford St yesterday with his dad and girlfriend to go suit shopping for the wedding. Was very successful and have found the perfect suit. I don't have pictures yet, as they were taken on his dads camera, so waiting to get those sent over.

It was traffic free day as well, which was good and bad. Good because we got to walk in the road, bad because over 1million people turned out for the event! But we had a great time being tour guide to his Dad and girlfriend, went all over the place.

So that was our weekend, how was yours? Gonna get an update done too now, so stay tuned :goodvibes

Traffic free Oxford Street? I didn't even know that existed! :lmao:

I love seeing all the decorations, makes me want to go visit my aunt in Orpington even more! ;)

And I love the cute little guy you adopted! :goodvibes We have one with a Santa hat too, picked him up at an outlet mall in Orlando, but he doesn't have such a neat shirt! :thumbsup2

Can't wait for more updates! popcorn:: ...... which reminds me, if I don't get on with mine, you'll have yours all done before I am halfway through with mine! :rotfl:

They do it every year in December. There were fairground rides and a big Coca Cola truck like from the ad (love the Christmas Cola advert). You have to come visit this place again and soon :)

They had other characters in Christmas jumpers, but Stitch just had to be adopted :teeth:

Update coming up soon, just waiting for the pics to upload (there are alot!) I reckon we will either finish together or you before me as I am finding it hard keeping up with the Dis at the mo. I guess as long as you get at least one or two updates a week its not too bad :rolleyes1

Day 5 - Monday October 4th
Today was an Epcot day, but only for Future World. We arrived early for rope drop as we wanted to get our FP's for Soarin'. The original plan was to go to Akershus for breakfast and Dave would grab FP's once we were seated. We ended up not going to Akershus as I really didn't feel like getting up early to get to Epcot for 8am (you will see a pattern of this later on in the trip). So we skipped breakfast, had a mini lay in and made it for park opening at 9am instead.

WDWTrip2010642.jpg

Turnstiles open, we made our way towards the centre ready for rope drop for the Land. Dave decided to go ahead of me and do the fast walking whilst I strolled behind taking pics. Its funny to see everyone running towards Soarin' first thing, to a total newbie you would think there was a Black Friday Sale going on

I was wondering past the window for the Character Spot and Mickey and Co were standing around together waiting for their fans to come say Hi, they started dancing and high fiving each other, which was pretty cute. I only decided at the last minute when they stopped to take pictures

WDWTrip2010643.jpg

WDWTrip2010644.jpg

Moving on I kept heading towards Soarin' taking my time and some pictures. Was quite nice to stroll and take it all in.

At this point I stopped taking pics as I had seen Dave making his way back from the FP machines and I was on the opposite side, so I ran down calling his name, but being totally deaf he did not hear me. I got to where the escalators were and instead of going down tried to go full circuit (the top part is circular so you can get out from the top without having to go down) and a CM stopped me saying I couldn't go that way. Ok so 1) I was not in the mood to be delayed as my other half was getting away and 2) So I'm not allowed to leave the building?!? I said I wanted to leave and was this not the way out, of course he was all apologetic and let me go. But I mean jeez if I was trying to get ahead of everyone to get a FP that was so not the way to go because it would take me to the entrance of the building right, unless there is some secret way from there that could have taken me downstairs :confused3 Anywho...

I finally caught up to Dave and he showed me our time slot, think it was between 12-1pm and it was only just after park opening  But it wasn't too bad as we had lots to do beforehand anyway.

Cntd...

Oh, you better get used to those FP times! :rotfl: We went to ToT in Paris right after they opened (opened at 9am and we were there around 9.15am and come back times were for 3pm! We just said NO way are we going to come back at 3pm! Left it and never rode it in all 4 days we were there! :sad2: :lmao:

We made our way out of the land and strolled towards Test Track, taking a few more piccies along the way.

Finally arrived at...
WDWTrip2010671.jpg

Which had a 10 min wait, so on we walked

WDWTrip2010672.jpg

and walked

WDWTrip2010674.jpg

and walked

WDWTrip2010678.jpg

Before walking through to the briefing room, of course we skipped the briefing and went straight to find our car. The even more awesome part of our first ride, getting a car all to ourselves.

Photo0140FourBySix.jpg

Love this ride, although I imagined it to be faster for some reason, but its only 60mph, still a great ride though.

We decided to stop and take a few obligatory pics of us in the cars. I quite like this one, reminds me of Melinda's car from Ghost Whisperer

WDWTrip2010679.jpg

Not sure what this one is.
WDWTrip2010682.jpg

I wanted Dave to pose in this one as it reminded me of Clark's truck in Smallville.
WDWTrip2010684.jpg

Car pics over, we made it back round to the entrance and saw it was still a 10min wait, so on we went again. This time it really was around 10mins as there were a few more people walking the line this time and we had to watch the briefing video. But still a good ride.

We had some time to kill afterwards before we could get another FP, so we sat down for a bit and discussed a game plan for the day. FP's obtained we made our way over to The Seas to go and find Nemo.

WDWTrip2010687.jpg

Dave has a video of these guys and stood for a few minutes waiting for them to start their yapping
WDWTrip2010688.jpg

The Nemo ride is cool, but it needs a bit more I feel like it goes round too quickly and just needs that little something more to make it a ride.

After we found Nemo we wandered around the aquarium for a bit and took some photos. I left Dave to it with the camera and wandered around. I was standing by one tank and this cute little girl came up to me and asked me what fish was this (was like an angel fish but not), she was really cute and was asking all sorts of questions and we spent the next few minutes counting the small crabs that wander around in the tanks and also looking for the starfish hiding in the sand.

I love seahorses, there's something about them that draws me to them they look so sad but so cute.

WDWTrip2010713.jpg

WDWTrip2010714.jpg

We wandered over the Dolphin tank and watched them for a little bit, we were also in time for one of the shows to start (or demonstrations). This little guy was so cute, his job was to look at where the trainer placed a star on one window and then had to point to the corresponding square on another window. Very clever, but he couldn't quite grasp the middle square which was giving him some difficulty bless him.

Well Dave will be happy with that as he doesn't like ToT, I on the other love it :(

After the dolphins we made our way over to Sunshine Seasons as I was hankering for a snack and a certain snack at that :teeth:

09e5066d.jpg

The yummiest most scrummiest strawberry shortcake. Dave went for the apple caramel cake which I am told was very good too.

Snack craving satisfied we hopped straight on for a ride for Living with the Land. First time riding this and its not a bad little ride. I took lots and lots of photos.

Lunch was at Nine Dragons, a tradition of ours to have our first lunch at Epcot here. Its not a bad restaurant and we think the food is pretty good.

I didn't get a pic of the appetisers, but I went for the shrimp and chicken egg rolls and Dave went for the Pot Stickers.

I didn't expect the egg rolls to be so huge, could only just about finish the one. But it was yumma. Dave enjoyed his pot stickers too.

Whilst we waited for our mains, Dave took the time to colour and draw the symbols on his placemat.

30.jpg

Not a bad job there :)

For my main I went for the honey sesame chicken with steamed rice. Love love love this dish, the sauce is perfectly sweet and the chicken lovely and tender.

32.jpg

Dave went for the Kung Pao Chicken which he said was very tasty, but wished he had gone for sweet and sour when he saw mine  bless him.

31.jpg

I skipped on dessert but Dave had the red bean ice cream. Sorry no photo I'm afraid, but I think he liked it.

After lunch we strolled back over to FW to use our FP's for Soarin'. We had a bit of a wait which I wasn't very happy about as FP's you usually walk on and wait just before boarding. But we had to wait a good 10-15mins. Dave loves this ride, the smells and the feeling of flying. Its a shame we only got to ride it the once this trip :(

Mousegears was next on the agenda, bit of retail therapy and Dave also started his Vinylmation frenzy. He decided to go for the Toy Story ones hoping to get the surprise figure which we thought was an alien, but turned out to be Dr Pork Chop instead. The alien is actually buyable on the oversized vinyls.

Shopping done, we made our way over to Fountain View Ice Cream for a short break and ice scream stop.

Apparently it was Mondo Monday today.

27.jpg

This would be cookies and cream and chocolate. Suffice to say I did not finish this, could just about get to the chocolate part!

Dave went for a coke float, which when he put his straw in decided to erupt and go everywhere!!!

33.jpg

Well I gotta go run a bath so gonna have to leave it here for now.

Next up, where else in FW did we wander off and get up to?

More great photos! Thanks for the updates! Makes me VERY homesick! :rotfl2:

Guess you have not done the "Behind the seeds" tour in Epcot - but it is highly recommended. Gives you a look behind the scenes at the greenhouses. We did it for the first time last summer and it was a real fun little tour!

BTW - love the Strawberry shortcake - yummo! One of my favourites and your ice-cream looks wonderful too!
Not so sure about Dave's float though - do not temper with my Coke, please! :lmao:
