POOL question

HI,,,


was wondering..do the pools have a closing time.....AND are they very strick about them....say if they close at 11PM.. BUTTTTTTTTTTT you do not make nosie,,,,,can you still go in,,,as long as you do not distrub, any one? I know some rooms are close to some pools,,,,, do they have CMs that come around and check?? Would they just ask ya to get out of pool, or would ya get kicked out of hotel?

It depends on the pool. At SAB, the pool is closed when it's closed, and you will get kicked out.

At some of the quiet pools as long as you are quiet, you might be able to get away with it. But remembe, sound really carries around water, and if someone with a room near the pool hears you, they will likely complain.

Securoty does walk the grounds and check pools regularly at WDW resorts.

From what I understood - the lifeguards go off duty at 10pm. The slides are closed and it's swim at your own risk.

We've been in the pool at AKL past midnight (DH was swimming all alone!)

Most people hang out in the hot tubs later too.

Of course - if you are loud and rowdy, you'll be asked to leave. But if you are quiet enough and respectful of rooms around you...there should be no problem

Mmm, I second that question! How about the Poly? Anyone know how late the pools stay open there?

my answer above actually applys to ALL resorts from what I've read here on the DIS.

We were at Pop Century in Feb. in the 50's building right across from the pool. There were people in the pool literally at all hours. Thankfully they were quiet and we only noticed as we came and went pretty late.

Noone was ever asked to leave while we sat in the pool area and we even went for a midnight swim one night.
