Pool hopping

I know this is a big no-no at WDW, but do we think you can do it between HRH and RP? We are staying at HRH in Aug, and considered switching over to RP for the great pool we keep hearing about. But the two older kids really want the HRH. Just think the young one would like the RP. Do we know?
