Pool hopping question...weekend NOT at DVC?

We are going end of Feb/early Mar. SSR at the beginning and end w/ WL for the 2 weekend days. Just learned the WL pool will be closed. Since we are DVC members, will we be able to hop over to the Poly pool on that weekend? (there was no availability at Poly when I tried to switch after finding out about the pool). This trip is more for visiting older DDs and relaxing and less about the parks, so I was counting on some serious pool time for DDs!

If you are staying at WL, you will not have any access to DVC pool hopping- your room ID will not identify you as a "DVC Member" and your blue membership card is not usually accepted for pool hopping.

Usually, when a resort pool is closed those guests will be able to use a designated pool at a nearby resort (SSR/OKW, BWV/BCV) and would expect that some concession would be made in this case at either CR or FW - where your WL id will grant you access.

DVC members only have status for pool hopping when staying at DVC resorts with reservations made thru MS.

I'm sure you'll have a place to swim.
