Hi everyone,
I'm hoping that someone can answer my questions. We've stayed at Jambo house before but not at Kidani. We never did a lot of pool time before, but now since we have kids, we plan to spend more time there in the afternoons. So I'm wondering how do the two compare? Does either one of them have any sort of splash play area that toddlers might like--even if it's just a couple of small fountains that bubble up?
TIA

Kidani pool is smaller but it does have a large play splash area that is quite nice. The Kidani pool area is too small and for actual swimming I much prefer the pool at Jambo.

We actually prefer the pool at kindani over Jambo due to design and size. Both are nice but kindani pool is smaller. There is a splash play area for younger children. There are a few pictures on aklresort.com on the DVC Villas page. If you stay at AKL you can visit The pool at Kindani and vice versa:) Looking at those pictures makes me want to go back.

I think the pool at Kidani is great for kids and the Jambo pool is better for adults/older kids. If you have younger ones, then I think Kidani is your better choice.

Kidani pool is much smaller but we found it hard to swim without bumping into people. Just too crowded for the size of the resort.

Also you cannot really watch if you have kids of two different ages at Kidani. If one is in the pool you cannot really watch the splash area.

We had the Kidani pool almost to ourselves but the Jambo pool was packed the afternoon we went over there. There's also a great splash area for kids at Kidani. I say check out both. :thumbsup2
