Can anyone confirm that this opened today? We are leaving tomorow for WDW :goodvibes and I know my 1.5 yo grandson would love this area, besides it might give his Mom (my DD) and I a chance to rest our weary feet for a few minutes while he works off alittle energy :Pinkbounc . Thanks, Karen

I would also like to know. Thanks!

We were just there yesterday and I asked someone "guarding" the area and he said it should open today or tomorrow. From what I could see it looked great. I wish it had been open for DS6.

Where is the playground located at?

Thanks!

If anyone just coming back has some pics, I would love to see what it looks like.

There use to be a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in WDW? I know there was one in Disneyland I have read and now they are making A Nemo Ride but when I went I didn't see anything or any construction? Well I was my first time there so I must have been to excited! lol Oh and I never been to Disneyland either. I just read about all this stuff.

I talked to WDW CM the other day (over the phone). They said Pooh's playground is nex to the Pooh ride in MK.
Mostly for the younger set - my kids may just want a picture next to something in the playground - but way too old for it - unless you can get sprayed with water. Anything wet is great on a hot day.

I think the playgound is for the nursery to second grade age group. I am sure there are benches for adult to sit on as the young ones play.

I hope people enjoy it - and take some pictures - or describe it in detail.

Cool I'll be excited to see this! My youngest DS whi is 2 loves Pooh and Tigger!

It wasn't open last night (8/31). If you were leaving Toon Town and going toward Fantasyland, it's on your right, across from Tea Party and Dumbo.

Oh I am SO excited to see this open. Hooray we will be there shortly and Can let my DD go in there !

Thanks everyone, we'll be in the MK on Sat and hopefully it will be open :earsboy: . Karen

Can anyone tell if there is one entry? My DD's split up and although it is much better now, I had some really anxious moments in HISTK's play area at MGM. :flower:

This looks so cool - but no kids to play in it here :( Do you think they'd yell at me for having my picture taken at Pooh's door? I promise I won't try and play "on" the stuff - I know I'm too big for that.

I know some are going to give disney some flak for not putting in a blockbuster, but as a mom of three that fit the age range, I am going to love this. The playareas are a godsend to me. Kids need a chance to run and be free, and there is so little of that at disney. I am thrilled that this area is opened.

This will be a big hit with my three year old twins. The problem is that we're only going to MK for one day (as it stands now...could be more) and this attraction will cut into our "commando" schedule! Oh well...it's all for the kids and their enjoyment and memories!

It looks adorable! I really honestly hope they enforce the 2-5 age limit in some way. My little guy loves the tiny playground in Toontown, but last time we were there we had to leave because he was in danger of being trampled by hordes of out of control kids that were WAY too big and old to be in there. They were running, jumping over the little houses and almost landing on little ones, etc.

good i'm glad about the age as i saw the honey i shrink the kid one is for over 4 so gd will like this . Iwonder if pooh will ever make an appearance.
