After Malestrom, we decided to got over to Future World and ride Figment. I had never been on this ride, and enjoyed it.
We also did Honey I shrunk, and rested about 30 min after that. This is where my friend Debbie got a hold of me to tell me she would meet me later at the hotel!I told Christine about the "5th Dimension" performing, and even though she had NO idea who they were, she agreed to see them with me.
Side note: We kept hearing the very tail end of British Invasion about 3 times this happened!
We arrivied at the AMerican Pavillion, and the concert was to start at 6:30 so we had a while to kill, so we saw the Parade, took a Picture of the 911 flag, and went over to the Pavillion to see the concert. Needless to say, they were OK Not the ORIGINAL PERFORMERS!! I already new this and had to inform the People in back of me, as they were excited to see Marilyn McCoo! It wasn't her needless to say. After this we went back to the hotel in her car,where we waited for Debbie. (Christine decided she would stay with me, rather than drive to her off-site hotel, that way she could take FULL advantage of the Sports hotel). Debbie arrivied and we hung out at the Food Court where I had a great Steak Sandwhich and about 3-4 beers!
