I don't remember if I posted this in the other thread, but by the end of the week, I had a bit of a collection going on. Hee hee!
FYI, we did a lot of resort creeping, which you will read about later. That's where we got the mugs from. I drink my morning coffee from them.
Ok, on to Day 2!!! Our Magic Kingdom day!
On our way to the bus stop to go to the MK, this was our view. How rockin' is this?! This was just outside of our room.
We arrive at the MK and hop on the Monorail to go to Kona Cafe for breakfast. We love this place and have decided to make it a tradition (this was our second trip). We got there a good deal earlier than our ADRs, but were seated quickly. Here's some pics of us in Kona (plus the Tonga Toast):
A great experience, as always, at the Kona Cafe. See you next year when we come with the ILs!!
We head over the Magic Kingdom just a few minutes before the opening ceremony. I pulled a good one. Right when the train is coming into the station and they are singing the "Casey's Coming..." song (don't know the exact name), I look up and see all the characters on the train. I got a HUGE knot in my throat and tears came to my eyes. I turned to look at my husband, who did his best not to bust out laughing at me!! I was just excited to be there! I swear I had never done anything like that before!
Once the park opened we headed over to Tomorrowland where we rode Stitch's Great Escape and Buzz
After getting off of Buzz we saw Stitch getting pics, so we got in line. While my hubby was showing the CM how to work our camera, Stitch took off running! He heading toward a little group a couple of meters away and snuck up on a lady. She screamed and busted out laughing. It was a hoot!!
We spend the rest of the morning riding our favorites in the MK. Quite by accident we got to see the Jack Sparrow show over my POTC. It was pretty cool. Here is an awesome pic:
By this time we were wanting a little snack, so we went and got a Dole Whip float, our first and boy was it yummy!!!!!!
We then headed back to CSR for a little break. We chilled out for a little while and returned to the MK for our dinner at the Crystal Palace, which was awesome. I like the breakfast there better though.
Full and pooped, we headed back to CSR and went to bed early
