Has anyone ever rented a pontoon boat either on the seven seas lagoon or at POR/DD?

If so which are would be better? If you have rented at POR/DD can you rent at one end and return at the other?

We have taken pontoon boats from the Polynesian a number of times over the years. It is fun because you can roam all over Seven Seas Lagoon as well as Bay Lake.

We've never done that at DTD but I would think it would be fun to go along the canal and see the old Treehouses, etc.. I don;t know if you are allowed to take those pontoon boats one way but I do know that years ago you could rent at one marina in the MK area and drop at another. We did that once on our way to Hoop de Doo. The last time we asked, that was no longer an option which was too bad I thought.

We have rented a pontoon boat from the GF marina. That area is so much larger than other places we have rented boats from. We even bought lunch and had a nice meal out on the water. We have rented a smaller boat at DtD a few years ago and I don't remember having the option of dropping it off in another location. It was a nice place to take a boat out, but our favorite is the lake around the monorail resorts.

We rented a boat from the Polynesian. I think for 1 hour. We bought our lunch from Captain Cooks on board. It was nice and relaxing. I did a little trip report on it. It was the day of my aunts funeral, thats another story, and I just didnt feel like doing anything knowing what was happening 1000 miles away. The bay constable did come up and ask once if our ds was 18, which he was, we had given him some time to drive the boat too. The hardest part was the docking in and backing up out of the slip I think. We still talk about how nice it was and we took some pictures.

We have rented a pontoon from the CR and the GF. Either was great.....it is a very relaxing part of the trip. I highly recommend it!
