Poncho question

Well, it looks like we get to go enjoy some more Orlando rain. We leave tomorrow and major rain for all of our days due to some Tropical Wave (?) or something. I swear, we have the worse luck. When at Disney in May and August, it rained (and I don't mean just a little) every darn day. Grrrrr..so here we go again. Anyway, does Universal parks/resorts sell the ponchos and if so are they basically the same quality/price as Disney's? I'm trying to decide if I should just run out and buy some from Dollar Treee. Thanks everyone.

Don't despair! I live in Charleston, SC and have to deal with these tropical storms all the time. They are very unpredictable, and a few days ago this one was supposed to just hang out by the coast which is why the forecast calls for so much rain. BUT, it now looks like it should move out of the area by the weekend. We'll be there Friday night and I have a lot of hope for sunny days by the pool. I also talked to my parents in FL (just outside of Orlando) and they said it is just sprinkling there. We are getting slammed here in SC. So, let's cross our fingers!

About the ponchos, I'd think they would be much cheaper at the dollar store or walmart!

Thanks christophfam! That's exactly what I needed to hear. I've just had such bad "weather luck" when it comes to Orlando lately that I'm having a hard time being positive. You definitey brightened my mood though! Have a great trip!

We have bought ponchos on a couple of our stays...Keep forgetting to bring them with us. I think they are $7, much cheaper at walmart, but they dont say Universal on them!!

They are the heavy duty ones....but much more expensive.

I bought ours in the sporting good section of Walmart for $3.96 before we left...best investment we made all trip!
