Made a pile of ADR's for our upcoming trip in December, including the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Poly (first time). We booked the 5:15 show, and I was hoping to see Wishes afterward from the beach. A few questions:

1) What time is Wishes during the MVMCP? We've been there twice and I still can't remember.

2) I've read that they pipe the music from the fireworks onto the beach. Do they still do that?

Thanks!

1) Don't know, but if they do run another show, it WILL be after you leave the Luau since the "general crowd" Wishes is given at 6pm.

2) Yes. But its not very loud. You must be at the pool or along the sidewalk to hear it... and even then, its pretty soft.

No one can predict what any group of guests will decide to do, but its a BIG beach, so you won't have any problems.

We watched Wishes from the Poly beach last October and now my kids want it to be an annual event! The fireworks started @ 9:30 if I remember right. We also saw the Electric Water Pageant and it was cute too. The music is piped in but it is not very loud. Try to park near a speaker. We were on lounge chairs and hammocks and it was so relaxing and nice! :thumbsup2

They start at different times that change very frequently (Disney sometimes even changes the "published" times as the actual dates approach).

1. Pick your Park.
2. Pick your Month.
3. CLICK ON the DATE on which you want the info.

That's why guests need to check the official calendar often as their trips get near.

THIS post, BTW, is asking about a "special event" (MVMCP) Wishes show... that info is not listed on the officlal Disney calendar.

When I did the MVMCP last Dec, there was no "general" Wishes before the park closed at 6 PM. They only had the party Holiday Wishes, and if memory serves, it was around 10:00.
