Polynesian - 1st time LVC!

We're so excited to finally be able to do lagoon view concierge at the Polynesian - never thought we'd ever do it, but with the Fairytale package and getting another job (long story), we're going in July!

I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind!

We chose 2nd floor - mainly for balcony and close to food lounge for 15 YO and 7 YO daughters. (It's a surprise, they don't know it's LVC.) Is this a good choice?

Second, my 80 YO father lives in Florida and we were thinking of bringing him to Disney for our last night (he wants to have Tonga Toast for breakfast at Kona's and can't decide between Magic Kingdom or Epcot to visit.) Since we are on the package deal, would they just add $25 to our room rate or would we also have to buy an unlimited park hopper pass for him? Either way is fine, I just want to be prepared. We ususally don't do packages so I'm not sure how this works.

I can't help you on the balcony issue-I thought in Hawaii that only the 1st and 3rd floors had balcony.

Will you be in Tahiti during the construction? Maybe someone can confirm the balcony specifics there.

I'm not sure what to suggest about the package. Some CM's may try and tell you that you need to pay for your dad the whole time and can't just add him on. Did you ask them about this when you made the reservation? What was their response? I'm sure you will get different answers if you call and ask.

I would think that you would only have to pay the additional adult charge for his one night and buy him whatever ticket suits his needs the best.

Lately, I have seen a lot of threads about CRO and WDTC being real tough on things liket this and either insisting you have to put him on the whole package.

Please let us know what you find out.

The Tahiti Longhouse has balconies on the 2nd and 3rd floors! I'm not sure about your other questions! Have fun with your dad!!
