if price were comparable, where would you stay. Family of 5 have only stayed at POR. Want to stay at DLX this time but having trouble deciding. Will go to MK, MGM and AK. Thanks

We've stayed at both the Polynesian and the Contemporary. I'd have to say "it depends..."

If you want the charm of the exotic south seas theming and the feeling of being away from it all at your resort, then go with the Polynesian.

If you want the feeling of being in the middle of the action and right next door (walking distance) to the Magic Kingdom, then the Contemporary is the place for you.

Both resorts have large rooms, great restaurants, and excellent transportation options, so It's really a matter of personal taste in theming.

Just my 2 cents.

We've enjoyed the Poly on two trips, but only looked at the rooms at CR. We can't wait to stay at the CR! We really liked the set up of the room (little coffee table-like table in front of the day bed) and really liked the way the bathrooms are put together.

We've stayed at both. If you're staying in the tower at the CR you can't beat the convienence. But the Poly is convienient also. Both have large rooms, but the poly has a better pool. If you have children the arcade at the CR is second to none. Good luck!
