Poly w/ no hot tub for Jan or Feb.

Thinking of heading back to Disney in Jan or Feb and staying at the Poly. I don't like to swim in cold water. Are the pools there warm enough to swim during that time? I like hot tubs when the weather is cold, but unfortunately Poly doesn't have hot tubs, which I don't understand why, this is not a value resort. Or should I go with WL where I know if the water at the pool is too cold for me, I could just jump into the hot tub.

I really prefer Poly over WL due to the monorail, but I don't know about staying there when the weather is cold and no hot tub.

I know where you're coming from. We have gone in January (the AKL) and had planned to go last Feb (got canceled). But this early Feb we are planning yet another cold month trip and hot tubs this time a year is high on our list. During value season, we try to always book a delux--hubby is a CM so we usually get a great rate. While we would love to stay at the Poly, this is the one reason that we do not--no hot tubs. We most likely will try for WL, AKL, or CR--mostly for the hot tubs and the price. It's too cold for me to swim during this time too!

We love the hot tubs at WL - there are 3. We also love the boat rides to MK and Cont and find it easy to ride to either and then catch the monorail.

*Fantasia* --- if the Polynesian is where you really want to stay, don't look any further, just book your stay there. I can almost guarantee you'll love it. All of the pools are heated (I think +/- 80 degrees). Plus, the tropical atmosphere & the tiki torches may make you feel a bit warmer.
