When taking a bus from the Animal kingdom, do I get on a bus that says POLY or Grand Floridaian or Contemporary? I hear that these resors share buses. Thanks for the help.

We stayed at the Polynesian and never had a problem. I can't seem to remember what the bus had for a resort on it's signage. Maybe the three resorts were clumped together at one bus-stop at the parks. But, you shouldn't have a problem.

All the buses from the parks have all three resorts listed on the front so there is no confusion. The bus stop lists all 3 resorts also. So you don't have to worry about catching one of the buses as it has all resorts on all of them. We were at the Poly last week and this is the way it was. The route is Contemporary, Poly and then the GF when they drop off just in case you need to know. Have a nice trip!!

I would alway go to bus stop for The Poly..Bus schedules change depending of time of year and Park hours and Hotels occupancy. So make sure you get in line for the Poly don't worry about which other Hotels are or are not on same route. Unless you are going to another Resort for some reason. Each Park may even be differant you could always check with driver.

Actually there is no bus stop just for the Poly at the parks. They are combined like the Allstars are. The bustop might be number 7 and it has all three resorts, CR, Poly, and GF on one sign. At least it was this way last week when we went to all the parks and last May also.

Just to clarify...

From the Animal Kingdom, the route is Contemporary & Polynesian only. It's currently bus stop #2.

A general rule of thumb -- READ THE SIGNS. If it doesn't say it... it doesn't go there. :)

You can also catch the bus to the TTC and make the short walk to the Polynesian. On a recent trip, I wanted to return to the Polynesian and the rest of the troops wanted to stay at AK a little longer so I took the bus back leaving the car for them. I waited a long time at the stop with a gentleman on his way to the CR. He had been there for some minutes before me. I really wished I had gone to the TTC because I think two TTC buses came and went before ours. Unfortunately at AK, the two stops aren't close together. If I remember correctly, the TTC stop is close to the beginning of the loop and the Polynesian one is certainly at the end. Next time I would wait at the TTC stop and if a Polynesian/CR bus came first, try to hightail it across the top of the loop to catch it.

However, if you're leaving near closing I'd probably wait for the CR/Polynesian bus as it won't be as crowded.
