Poly to the Wonder?

Besides Disney's cruise transportation, they want $70/pp for the bus
from the poly to the pier and then from the pier to MCO, has anybody staying in a disney resort and then going on the wonder, rented a car? or another shuttle service?

We have used a rental car for our last three cruises. Last July we spent two nights at the Poly then drove to the Wonder. We parked the rental car right next to the ship in a private lot that cost $80 for the week. It was much more relaxing to us having our own car waiting for us to take us to the Pier from the Poly then after the cruise to go back to MCO.

You could rent a car, drive to port and then return the car, and rerent when you get off the boat.
We are taking DME back to MCO to rent a car to get to the port. We will park in the lot, and have the car when we get off the ship, and return it in Tampa when we're done with it later in the week.
