Poly to Campfire and Back?

We have dinner at the poly at 5:30 and then want to go to the Chip and Dale campfire at 8:00. Is this doable?

I was thinking the fastest way would be to take the launch from the Poly to the MK, and then the launch from the MK to FW, and then the internal bus at FW? Thoughts on how long that would take?

Is there a quicker way to do it? Maybe monorail to the contemporary and then the launch? Or walk to the TTC and bus? The boats would probably be more fun unless it would take too long.

After the campfire we are going back to the contemporary. I assume the quickest way to do this is simply to take the FW bus to the marina and then boat.

I would say yes.. At the most, dinner would take 2 hours, which would put you at 7:30, which gives you about a half an hour to get to the campfire, which should be enough.. The easiest way, IMO, would be to take whichever boat comes first to FW, and then take the monorail over to the Poly... To return to the Fort, I would take the express monorail to MK and catch the FW boat.. that should leave you enough time to get through the campground to the campfire.. hope that helps!!

I would say either that or Monorail to the Contemporary and the boat from there to FW and then the reverse to get back.

Thanks all. How frequent are the buses within FW? For example, if we get to the marina and just miss a bus, how long do you suppose the next bus to the campfire program would be? Once on the bus it's just a short ride to the camfire, right?

I would think that the most you would have to wait would be 10-15 minutes.. but the buses are sort of unpredictable, and it could take longer.. but it would probably end up being about 10 minutes.. The buses to major spots like the campfire are usually pretty frequent.. Hope that helps

You will not have hardly any wait to get to the campfire.

The reason is you can you have several choices of buses to get there.

If an Orange Outpost comes by first, hop on that bus and get off at Loop 900.

If a Yellow Outpost comes by first, hop on that bus and get off at Loop 1500.

DO NOT get on a Purple Outpost bus.
