Poly quiet pool opening official

It's official. The quiet pool at Poly will open March 12th with the grand opening on March 17th. Don't ask me why the grand opening is after, but maybe those five days between the 12th and 17th are test days. Pool has been full since at least 02/21 if not before. There was some minor work going on from that date without any obvious reason why pool was not open (except for the lack of pool furniture). It had apparently been delayed due to storms that prevented delivery into the Port of Jacksonville.

But, the pool furniture was delivered on Monday 02/29 and dates were confirmed by Disney management CM's on that same day. Furniture is bright turquoise with orange cushions. Have mucho photos.

Bar with full service. Hot food window. Drink window with refills for purchased refill mug. Zero entry pool. Hot tub.

I got a good look at the pool on Saturday 2/27. It looked done, so no surprise it;s opening in the upcoming weeks. There was virtually no construction, more clean up going on.

Anyone know how deep the pool is or how large the zero entry area is?

I know there's a depth of around 4' or 4'6" in the main pool under the waterfall. I think the depth is similar to the other pools without this one exceeding 3'6" in depth. If you look at the images here, the zero entry area is in the east end of the pool where the aeration fountain is located. You may be able to see it as that area is white and the color gets more blue as you move out from that side as the pool gets deeper. Is that what you mean about the size of the zero entry area?
I like night shooting, but I didn't have a tripod so some of the images may be a little blurry since the shutter speed was as low as 1/6 of a second. None of the images have been retouched either.

The pool really isn't that large either. It will probably only need 3-4 life guards at the most to staff it.

You should be able to see the aeration fountain in the foreground of the first image below. It's the white item in the middle of the image.
