Yes there are hairdryers in the rooms at the Polynesian. You can request a microwave (I think it is $10. a night not positive on the $) .The microwaves are first come first serve so if they run out you don't get one.

When we were there last December, there was a microwave available for guest use in Captain Cooks.

If a microwave is $10 per night, how long do you need to stay before it's cheaper just to buy one? You could take it home, or leave it behind.
