Are there two different concierge lounges at the Poly? I remember reading somewhere that the Lagoon View Concierge has a different (and better?) lounge than the Garden View Concierge. Is this right?

Are all the concierge rooms together and if so, which longhouse should I expect?

THANK YOU THANK YOU! I don't know what I would do without all the help I get from this board. :Pinkbounc

Poly GV and LV share the same lounge/concierge services. Hawaii is the concierge building. Grand Floridian has 2 different concierge services-Sugar Loaf (lighter) and RPC Main building. Contemporary has a light concierge on the 12th floor and a true concierge on the 14th floor.

Thanks for the information! Is the Poly concierge worth the money? I understand that the WL concierge is not really that great and that other deluxe resorts have a better concierge lounge/ food and services. Is this true?

Sorry for all of the questions.

It depends on how much the upgrade to concierge costs and how many are in your party. For us (me, DW, DS8, DS6) it was worth it when we went in 2002. We ate all of our breakfasts there, a couple of lunches for the kids and a couple of light dinners (after having a large late lunch at the parks). It was great taking the food down to the pool in the evening and watching the kids in the pool. Also the desserts were wonderful and it was nice to have a nightcap (cordials and wine) every evening. We thought it was worth it at the time. You will need to do the math to see if it is worth it for you. Jay

We felt it was worth it for 4 in our party. It was very convenient to eat breakfast early and be on our way. It also gave us somewhere to go, to get out of the way while others were showering and getting ready. The CMs are very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed Poly Concierge last October. I echo the comments of the other repliers. We made good use of all the goodies in the lounge. In addition, it was fun to watch the fireworks and eletrical water pageant from the lounge. I agree, that it was nice to have another location for some in our party to hang out while others were showering and dressing. And nothing like not having to be somewhere else to eat breakfast. We could eat from the lounge and then go right to a park. We didn't feel like we missed out on character breakfasts, because we ate a few late breakfasts as early lunches.
You will need to do the math to see if it is a good choice for you. It was for our family of four - three adults.

Trish, just wanted to add that there is one other building with concierge level in it but it is all suites. Can't even think of its' name right now.
