After a short rest, we decided to go to MGM for a while, and set off for the bus stop. However, the Downtown Disney bus pulled up first, and we decided to make a change in our plans and go there instead. I’m thinking this would be a fun touring plan for a few days of my next vacation- Just go down to the bus stop and hop on whatever bus shows up first!! :)

When we got to DD, it was very cold and rainy, and I was starting to sneeze every five seconds, so we decided to finally break down and buy the Infamous Yellow Ponchos! We figured out how to put them on, and boy oh boy were we stylin’ now! :D We continued shopping around the Marketplace a bit, and I kept losing mom, because she was just another yellow blob in the crowd of yellow blobs! We shopped in the World of Disney for a while, and enjoyed the 10% discount we got there with mom’s Disney Club Card! I began a search for jewelery, which is hard for me to find! Have you ever noticed how all that WDW and Mickey logo stuff looks soooo good while you are there, but then you never really wear it at home? I suppose its because at WDW, everyone ELSE is wearing Mickey ears and Mickey sweatshirts with Tigger shorts and a Donald necklace, you just sort of fit in ;) But back home, some of it feels a bit silly. Perhaps its just me? Anyway, I was on a quest to find some fun Disney jewelry that I would actually wear at home, and ended up with some cute Mickey-shaped earrings- three clear stones in that famous shape ;) I love em! I also decided to pick up a few pins- the Polynesian one, Wilderness Lodge, and an Epcot one. And of course, I had to have the 2001 Scrapbook! Its so pretty!

After our shopping spree, we were absolutly starving, but we were also soaking wet and a bit sneezy, sleepy, and various other dwarfs, and really didn’t feel like taking a bus or walking anywhere for dinner, so we just went to the DD McDonalds, because well, it was THERE! We had normal McDonalds-y food, and I won a free apple pie on my little “Who Wants to be a Millionare” Game Card that was on the fries (Remember that McDonalds promotion? I guess Millionare was at WDW before any of us knew it would be a real attraction someday!) A lady at a nearby table got REALLY excited over her card, and a few of the restaurant CM’s were at her table talking to her about it, so we assumed she had won something really cool. It turned out that she hadn’t even scratched off a prize box yet, because she couldn’t decide which one!! I think she finally ended up winning free fries, or something like that ;)

After dinner, I was still freezing and sneezing and such, so we went BACK to the World of Disney in search of a sweatshirt! I found a grey sweatshirt-material zip-up jacket sort of thingey with a hood. It has a WDW logo on the front, and Mickey, Donald, Goofy & the gang on the back :) Cute, and about $30-$40.. the price escapes me at the moment ;) At least we got the 10% discount! We continued browsing the Marketplace shops, and stopped to answer a survey for a CM. We kinda hoped that we would get something for doing it, as they occasionally do give you stuff, but no such luck. Oh well, maybe next time! Bu now we were ready to go back to the lodge, so we hopped back on the bus. When we got there, we had a message waiting on our phone, which informed us that we would be able to use express check out the next morning, and all about the checkout procedure. Well, that was nice, except we weren’t checking out the next day!!! Good heavens, the Wilderness Lodge was evicting us! I called down to the front desk, wondering why they had decided to kick us out so soon ;) It ended up that a CM had accidentally sent that check-out message to the *entire* 6th floor! Um, oops? We also had a message from Katie, so I called her back and she said that she wouldn’t be able to make breakfast at the castle the next day. Darn! We agreed to figure out a time to see each other again before we left, and she reminded me that the season finale of Surivior was on, so mom and I relaxed and watched Tina win. Poor Colby! I wrote some notes and organized stuff while we watched, and then drifted off to sleep!

Up Next: Day 5 Part 1-- Poly Princess Meets Her Fellow Princesses!

Can you imagine the front desk being flooded with calls, asking what was going on!
I'm enjoying your reports, thanks for posting.

I love your philosophy on why we don't wear our Disney Stuff at Home!!! :p I have to admit... I look at my sweatshirt or such item and I decide not today.... that is for my fun days (whenever that might be....)

I did find a right just like the earrings you described, very cute! I wear it every day!!!

Glad you had a great day... despite the bad weather! Hope you are still wearing your sweatshirt once in awhile! ;)
