Poly or WL studio for MVMCP visit

Hi,

We are thinking of doing a two night visit to see the Osborne lights one more time and probably do MVMCP. I'd like to stay somewhere close to MK since we will be heading home so late after the party.

Looks like my best choices are a WL or Poly studio room. WL is $401, Poly is $464. (Regular Poly room is $511- don't know why it would be more than studio?). With Poly we get 2 queen beds and 2 showers plus the convenience of having a few transpiration options.

Oh- there are 5 of us- 2 adults and 3 kids ages 10, 12 and 14. Which would you pick? Any advantages to WL besides the price? And any clue why a standard Poly room is more than a studio?

With studios you get one queen bed and one sleeper sofa. At the Polynesian, the sleeper sofa will be queen sized. At VWL, it will be double sized. Both of those places will also have a murphy bed for the smallest in your party. VWL will not have two showers. Polynesian will have the separated bathroom with a tub/shower toilet in one side, stand up shower in the other. The real hotel room will have two real queen beds and a day bed.

I will go with the poly much easier to transport kids at midnight after the party and the two showers.

Thank you! I meant to say a queen bed and queen pull out- guess I meant two queen sleeping areas. we have a 12 & 14 year old who would share the pull out couch and a 10 year old who would get the twin Murphy bed.

I picked Poly because of the queen beds and the 2 showers. I am going to keep my eye out though to see if anything else opens up- my kids have never stayed at the Contemporary so I'm sure they would like that too.

Now I need to go read about which long house to request!

I would go with the Poly as well. Love the WL, but you have several different transport options to get back to the Poly after MVMCP.
