My husband and son will be renting a Mouseboat for 90 minutes on Wednesday, Aug. 29. My dd 10 with Down syndrome has no interest on going out on a boat whatsoever. So we will likely just dink around the resort where the guys rent the boat. Which resort do you recommend to spend a couple of hours with a girly girl - Poly or Grand Floridian. We are eating at O'Hana at 10:30 and then at GF Cafe at 4:55 that day so either on will work.

Thanks!!

I would say both! There is a very nice walking trail that connects the two resorts. I would wonder around both the resorts. They are very beautiful!

Enjoy!

If it were just me, I'd do that in a heartbeat. But my dd is 6 months post chemo and has foot problems so she doesn't like to walk a lot. I guess we could hop the Monorail between resorts.

While I would prefer to stay at the Poly, I think that the GF is your best option for a visit. The lobby is stunning and very comfortable. A pianist plays during the day and at night there is a band. The GF has several nice shops and restaurants. If it were up to me, I would plan a nice lunch at Citricos or afternoon tea and then browse the shops.

I that case, I would agree with LukenDC, and visit GF. You could browse the resort and shops. Also, just sit and soak up the atmosphere! Enjoy!
