Poly LVC vs GVC

We are traveling to WDW this summer and debating between Lagoon View Concerige or the Garden View Concerige. It will only be my wife and I. The price difference is $700 between the two. Any help in determinig would be appreciated. Thanks.

We love LVC, best view in WDW! We would wake up and have coffee every morning out on the balcony.

DH, DD4 and DD18mos and myslef went LVC last year and we will do hte same this year. We went LVC this year and last year because of our princess loving girls. If it were just DH and I we would probably just do GVC. We went LVC because the girls could wave goodnight to the castle and it would be the first thing they saw in the am. We also spent a good deal of time in our room, naps and we saw fireworks form our room, so it was convenient. We were lucky, we went the week before Wishes debuted and they were practicing, so we saw fireworks almost every night. Can't beat that! It really was magical! And we don't mind paying for magical! Originally we had GVC booked since November for our August trip! I couldn't justify the $600 additional cost for lagoon view! But, after many sleepless nights, about 4 weeks ago, I changed the ressie to LVC! I am just hoping that it is everything people say it is!...AMAZING!!!

Do all LV rooms face the Castle? If not, which building do I have the best chance at getting a room with LV that faces thew castle?

We stayed in Hawaii rooms 3505 and 3507. We always had great views.

Makes me want to go back.

We are partial to LVC in part because we have kids who love to watch the castle change colors at night and because I love to get up early a.m. and watch the sun rise over the lagoon from our balcony. That being said, it is a lot of $$$ for the view. If you and your DW would be happy to go to the lounge or the beach for your "castle" fix, not sure that the extra cost would be worth it for you. To me, anywhere at the Poly is magical, so either way you are sure to have a great time!
