Which Dinner show would you recommend for a group of 11 (6 adults, 5 kids - 4 girls & 1 boy)? We can only do one. Is one of them generally more highly rated when it comes to food or entertainment?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

IMHO, SoA is not good. The food is nothing great and the first half of the show is very boring. I have noticed that a lot of kids lose interest in the show and even fall asleep.

HDDR, on the other hand, IMO, is the only dinner show worth going to. We go on every trip. The show is pretty interactive and really gets people involved. The food is pretty good if you are ribs and chicken type people.

I agree. have been to the Hoop 4 times and most recent was October and I have been to SoA 1 time and if I were to go on my next trip to one of these shows it would be the Hoop for the 5th time.

HDDR!:thumbsup2 It's a must do for us every trip. It is lots of fun for all ages and it's air conditioned, which is nice after sweating all day in the parks.:scared:

I would do the HDDR. There is always a large party with us and I feel the show is more interactive. Plus you will not have to worry about the weather.

Just an addition to my previous post... we had a convention at the Gaylord Palms this past fall and we took a bunch of clients with us to the HDDR. We were a party of 20. Everyone, even the skeptics who laughed at the idea when we invited them, had a blast (I am sure the unlimited wine and beer had something to do with it).

We have been to both as a group of 9 and 11. I would probably pick HDDR and DH would pick SoA. The food wasn't too bad at either, not great, but the bread was delicious at SoA, the shows were both corny, the fire thrower was good at SoA. They do have interaction with the audience at HDDR, so if that is something you do like, (or don't), that is something to consider.

I don't need to do either again for awhile. ;)

Another vote for HDDR -- even entertained our youngest members 20 mos and 4 years old.

Thanks everyone! Hoop-de-doo it is! (assuming we can get an ADR for 11 at our 180-day mark. :))
