Poly Experts-PS For Breakfast @ Poly - Early Jan.??

Our FITS pass grants us a free breakfast and my better half wants to eat at the Poly, probably sometime between Jan. 3 and Jan. 8. My guess is that this will be a very slow time and that if we get there early we'll walk in. Any thoughts by the Poly Experts out there?

I am no expert, but I do have an opinion! I'd make the PS anyway. If you get there earlier than the PS and it's not crowded - great. If, by chance, it is busy, you're covered by the PS. Have fun!

We stayed at the Poly last month during "slow" time. After hearing about the increased crowds I went ahead and made a PS for breakfast the morning we wanted to eat at Kona. Turns out the restaurant was only half full but I would have been really dissapointed if we hadn't made the PS and the place had a wait...I don't like to waste any time waiting to be seated while at Disney!

I agree with the previous poster - make it and if you need it you have it!

We stayed at the Poly in Oct and we didn't make a PS for either Ohana or Kona before we arrived. Actually, we did make a PS for Ohana's breakfast about 4 days before we wanted to go. We never made one for Kona, but we are early risers and we went to eat when they opened. Enjoy your breakfast at either. Both were very good.

We were there in May and the whole GCH seemed packed in the morning- we ate at Kona Cafe. I would probably get a PS just in case. -Steph

We always make a PS too but if you're going early in the am during that time in January you will probably be fine without one as long as you're not going on an EMH day at MK. But I'd make one anyway.
