Do I need a power strip for multiple electronic devices (traveling with 2 teens) or did they add USB charging ports in these new rooms?

There are multiple USB ports in the room, and an alarm clock with a lightning plug.

The two studio nightstands have a USB connection plus two outlets in them. With a nice shelf below.
