We are planning on staying at the Poly in May with our free hotel stay we got when we purchased BCV. We have visited the Poly several times but never stayed there. My biggest concern is that we will miss a hot tub. Has anyone that has stayed at the Poly missed not having a hot tub? Would we be happier staying in a newer hotel like the BW or BC that has a hot tub? We really love the BC but know that we will be staying there often with our BCV purchase. Or should we stay at a resort on the monorail one time?

Also, yy DH has panic attacks on elevators so we always use stairs. Do all the longhouses at the Poly have stairs as well as elevators? We usually request a 1st or 2nd floor room.

Also if we request a GV room in Tokelau, pool side, do you think a 1st or 2nd floor room would be too noisy?

Thanks for all your opinions!

Check out my web page below for info and pictures. I have never missed a hot tub but I go in July. In the new pool there is an area to sit in the water with jets at your back. The new water slide is great and the beaches are the best. All the longhouses have stairs and I don’t think you will get much noise from any floor in Tokelau.

Steve, I just love your website!!!! I am hoping to get to the Polynesian for my birthday (Labor day weekend).

donmil723- I think the Polynesian is a good choice. Since your home resort is BCV, it would be nice to stay on the monorail for your free stay.

If you use a hot tub to relax, try grabbing a hammock on the beach instead!:D They are big enough for 2!

Tokelau is next to the quiet pool so you will not be bothered by too much noise. I loved Tokelau. It is close to everything. If you go out of the building closest to the lagoon, there are several two person swings that are very romantic. The long houses are only 3 floors and there are at least two sets of stairs. It was the perfect location.

We bought at the BCV and are planning on using our free stay at the Poly, too. It is a beautiful and very relaxing resort, and yet it is so convenient to get everywhere in the World. When you travel to Epcot, be sure to walk to the TTC to take the monorail...it saves so much time. If you can't find the path, ask anyone...everyone is so friendly at the Poly. We love it!
