Do they have refrigerators in the rooms? I thought I read that they have minibars. Does that mean they have a stocked refrigerator and they charge you for the items that you use in it? We have never stayed concierge before - any comments on the extras that you get in these rooms would be great to hear.

They do not have minibars at the Polynesian...concierge or not. Thank goodness. I hate them. In concierge rooms there is a small empty refrig on the same shelf in the armoire as the TV. It's a little smaller than the dorm size refrigs that can be rented. We love the Polynesian concierge...well, actually we love the Polynesian period. Have fun!!

While it is true that the refrigerator comes unstocked in the concierge building, you can pick up water & soda from the concierge lounge and store it in the fridge. The unlimited drinks really comes in handy on hot days!

Another question regarding Poly Conceirge. I will be there in just two weeks. Are there hair dryers in the rooms? I know AKL/WL have them. Thanks.

Yes there are hair dryers in the room. They are mounted on the wall by the sink and are small but efficient.

You will also get the standard assortment of toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap (with Mickey on it!), shampoo, lotion, and a shower cap.
