We are staying at the poly in April, our first time going concierge, I was reading the fact sheet aloud and my 7 and 5 year old were bouncing off of the walls about the gummy worms and m&m's! They were wondering if they would have robes waiting for them too?? We are staying lagoon view in April, sooo excited! Anyway, the kids were curious, I told them I would try to find out. Thanks!

Only two adult-sized robes in concierge rooms ... no kid-sizes - sorry to disappoint. I suppose you could call and ask, but I've never seen them.

Only adult sized robes. Your little ones are most welcome in the lounge with jammies and slippers. :sunny:

A good question. Many years ago, they did have child sized robes in the concierge rooms at the GF. My kids loved putting them on after a late night swim. Of course, they were also plush terry back then too.

Maybe you could find some inexpensive terry ones and take them to a local embroiderer. They can put the GF logo and their names on it.

Talk to the concierge before you arrive. I'm sure they could arrange to have some special Disney type robes for your children. You could then take them home as a nice souvineer pirate:

My kids loved their pails. We even had Mickey send them welcome baskets which they were so happy about. The concierge is wonderful at the Poly. :sunny:

FYI - we were there this summer for a week. Gummy worms had been relplaced with gummy sharks. M&M's were gone...:sad1:

Poly Concierge is great -- my kids absolutely loved it. (So did we!)

My oldest child, 8 at the time, helped clean up the lounge area with the staff one morning (when we were doing a sleep in lazy day morning mid trip). I don't know what possessed her, she has never shown this tendency at home unless I insist...anyways... the chef of the lounge invited her to learn how to make fancy fruit animals and such. This was a huge hilight of the trip for her.

And, when we got back to our room later that night, the staff had left a huge signed picture of mickey in our room, thanking her for help in the lounge.

And about the bathrobe thing.. the concierge will purchase and embroider robes and have them waiting for you in the room. We did that, I wanted the GF robes because we had honeymooned there 13 years ago,,, so I asked concierge to do it for us and have them waiting in the room as a suprise 10 anniversary present. (we had not done disney since the honeymoon!). I am pretty sure GF has robes in childrens sizes. BTW, I do prefer the GF robes to the poly robes -- GF is big white fluffy spa type, and Poly is thinner waffle weave -- at least that was the case a couple of years ago.

Have a great trip!

Be prepared that once the kids stay conceirge at the POLY they may not want to go anywhere else. Our little one loved it last year. We stayed at the Shades of Green in May of this year and she said "I don't want to stay here, I want to stay at the Polynesian." Now she says the next time we go back we will be staying at the Polynesian.
A resort snob at 3, can you believe that!
Your kids will love it! Hope you all have a wonderful time.
