Hi everyone - I am planning a trip to Disney next January (end of month). We have stayed Poly previously and love it but the kids are now 10 and 14 and will spend alot of time in Epcot so also want to try Beach or Yacht Club. When we go we stay Concierge as we like the convenience of popping in the lounge. I know where to stay at Poly but have no idea what the best rooms are at Beach/Yacht. We want a full balcony but not sure what the rooms are like in Concierge. What kind of view do you have? I would also consider the other rooms that I believe are deluxe at Beach Club but have Club level access. Any help would be appreciated. Our plan would be to stay Epcot resort first and then head over to Poly. Thanks you for your help.

Also, does anyone have the site where you can compare the prices for different category of rooms? I want to see how much difference they are at each resort and also the price of the deluxe with concierge at Beach Club.

Thanks

www.allears.net has a grid with prices for each level room.

I'm also doing a BCV/Poly split stay in March with a friend for her birthday!

Then, taking the family back later in March for a BC CL stay - in a Deluxe CL room. There is very little info and/or pics on The DIS of the Deluxe CL rooms, because there are only 6 of them. They are larger than the regular CL rooms, having a small entry way, 2 queens, and a bump-out area with a daybed. The bathroom is the same as in the regular rooms. The best pics of the room layout are over on the YC/BC Pictures thread, page 72, post #1069. 4 of the rooms overlook the quiet pool, one on each floor, 1-4. That area of the resort only has 4 floors, so you have to walk over to the main area, and take the elevator up to the 5th floor. The other 2 are in the middle section of BC, above Cape May, on floors 3 & 4. They are closest to the CL lounge, although not on the same floor. They are quite a bit more cost-wise.

I plan to see if the concierge will allow me to peek at any of the deluxe CL rooms if they're empty, on my 1st stay in March (although that stay is not CL, I might not be allwoed to). I will be sure to take pics & post them for everyone to see.

Thanks - Wow did not realize the difference between Poly and Beach/Yacht. This makes it easier to stay split with Poly being that much more expensive. I am excited to stay at a different resort but now to decide which one Beach or Yacht Club? Which has better views??? Any pros or cons for either one? I am sure we can not go wrong but love to get all of your input. Thanks. I hope they have discounts for next January or some type of code like we have had in the past two January visits or we may have to just stay in a regular room but we will still be in Disney so that is fine.

One major con about staying Club Level at the Beach Club is that their lounge is very small and in my opinion it's almost like you feel claustraphobic because you are that close to the other tables. Plus the Cast Members who clear the dirty plates off the tables are standing very close to you and looking at you which in my opinon doesn't make for a relaxing atmosphere.

Well thanks for bursting my bubble! No really, I've read the reviews and I've seen the lounge. We aren't early risers & don't plan to be in there at peak times, it wil be just fine for us. I kind of like the cozy atmosphere & I'm a people person, the staff being that close will just give me a better opportunity to chat with them!

To the OP - regarding views from BC or YC they're pretty much identical at both resorts. Looking out the front of each you see the road & some trees, maybe the parking lot. Looking out the back you see SAB, landscaping or the lagoon with Boardwalk, Swan & Dolphin across the way.

If a balcony is important to you, you're much better off at the YC. Most, if not all, of the rooms have a full balcony.
At the BC, there are some rooms that have a very tiny standing room only balcony.

Yes, I am aware of the standing room only balconies at beach club but does that apply for Club Level. I though maybe the Concierge rooms would all have regular balconies.

Ok - I have searched but can not find if all the rooms at Beach Club Concierge have full balconies? Anyone? Right now am leaning more towards Beach Club just like the decor better. If they do not all have full balconies in Concierge then that will be our only request. Both resorts look great and can't wait to try the Epcot side.

I've stayed both poly and bc cl...both are very nice. Our room at the bc overlooked the courtyard with a little glimpse of the pool. It very nice and quiet during our stay. The lounge is small, but suited our needs just fine, we found the cms wonderful. Now not all bc rooms have full balconies, I do believe all the cl rooms do however. It is a wonderful resort, go and enjoy.

Thanks - That is good to hear that all the concierge rooms have full balconies. Thanks so much!

According to the YC/BC thread, yes all CL rooms at BC have the full balcony. With the exception of #3557 and #4681 - they are both Deluxe CL rooms, a different category, and have the juliet standing balconies only.
